Great spot for a family trip to the Yarra Valley. Central location, spacious and well equipped. Beds were very comfortable and heating was excellent. Double glazed windows did well with both climate control and noise dampening (building works were going on in the neighbouring property but weren't disruptive). Views were lovely and we had several visits from the local bird life in the morning, right on the balcony railing.
The property was in a great location and a short walk to the shopping centre. The amenities were great, an undercover deck providing good views and a spacious living room. The bathrooms were well appointed. However the bedroom description did not mention a single bed and a trundle in the 3rd bedroom and for people over 60 this was unacceptable and was not communicated in the advertising. It did sour an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Hi Chris, below is the description as stated on HomeAway/Vrbo - "
This lovely spacious home accommodates 6 guests in 3 bedrooms and a porta cot available upon request. Main bedroom with ensuite and queen bed, 2nd bedroom with double bed and 3rd bedroom with single bed (and trundle bed available upon request)".
We enjoy our stay but if you don't like ants or spiders don't book this place!
There was no spider spray we had to go and buy our own to spray all the spiders outside and there was all ants inside the kitchen.
There was no coffee or tea not even one thing of coffee which I thought was terrible and a tiny tiny bottle of milk.
The beds are very comfortable and the house was clean apart from the webs outside also if you plan on eating out while in healsville I wouldn't recommend booking for a Monday or Tuesday night as we struggle find somewhere to eat out.

Thank you for your review and we are pleased you enjoyed your stay. As we pride ourselves with customer service, we are so happy to hear about the cleanliness and comfort of the home. Houses can sometimes experience ants inside the home and spiders outside at certain times however they are not welcome at this home. Thanks to your feedback, we have immediately engaged a professional service and treatment of the inside and out to ensure they keep away for now and in the future.
We apologise about no tea or coffee as we understand how important this is to all of our guests. The guest tea and coffee box was simply not taken out of the cupboard where it was locked in and we apologise as this was our error. A generous amount supplied is normal and should have been left at the guest home for your convenience.
As Healesville is a bustling tourist town we are spoilt with many fantastic places to experience, visit and to dine in and out. Restaurants & Café’s sometimes close Mondays or Tuesdays at to prepare for the busy week ahead. As there are many to choose from we find that there is always a few open but not all of them as you would get from Wednesday to a Sunday. Booking ahead is advisable and our local list of Things to do and visit in the Yarra Valley sent with your booking details includes all the eateries with contact numbers to book. We are also always happy to help with our personal and local recommendations and you can contact us during your stay at any time should you need.
As this property is new to the market as a holiday rental we are taking on board and ensuring that all the comfort of our guests are met and we hope to have you as a return guest in the future.
We stayed with a family of four and found this property lovely and clean and as presented online. If anything, the view was better than the pictures did it justice. Had a great 4 day stay.
