Everything was excellent - the location, the view, the amenities, the communication. The hosts were very responsive to our requests. We only stayed one night, but would have loved to stay longer. There was plenty of room for our large family group, and we appreciated the extra little touches and the homely atmosphere.
We loved our stay and our doggos loved it too! So much beautiful grass for them to run around! The place is comfortable and very well thought through to make our stay just cozy and enjoyable!
We all love this cottage. It's very neat and clean. Beds are very comfortable and with electric blankets. The view is fantastic and you could enjoy the sunrise just in the backyard with hot coffee in your hand.location is also great, 5-min drive to Bilpin or Botanic Garden.
We had a one night stay and had a great experience. The place was very clean and well maintained, and the view was outstanding! I would happily come back. Thank you!
Melanie's Berambing Cottage is cosy and welcoming well stocked with cutlery and essentials.Against the lovely backdrop of a night sky filled with stars, you can have great conversations around a well placed firepit.Come morning you are greeted with a great view of rolling hills and horses grazing close by as you admire the distant horizon. All in all it was a great stay with wonderful memories even though it was just for a night.
Excellent place for our family to stay for a wedding at Chapel Hill. Melanie was very helpful in making our stay so easy and comfortable. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mirradong Cottage!
We had a wonder stay. Loved the house and location. Warm and cosy. Great toy collection to keep the little ones entertained. Loved seeing the horses and sheep in surrounding paddocks. Highly recommend.
We were only a small group so loved the immense sense of space this property gave us. Our dog, Stormy, couldn't believe his luck at the huge garden he had to run around in - I've never seen him happier :)
Stayed at the property for a local wedding. Home is quaint and very well equipped. Beautiful outlook and so peaceful. Communication from the host was excellent.
We had friends and family stay with us on our wedding weekend at this cottage and it was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed the close location to our wedding venue and the communication from the owners was excellent.
Amazing property with breathtaking view… the perfect getaway
We booked this property for a weekend getaway with a few family friends. The property was well located and easy to get to reach. Each of the room was well appointed and made us all feel very comfortable. The highlight of the stay was the massive backyard and breathtaking views.
I would highly recommend this place for any one looking for a break from the city.
Property is a bit dated. No horses to be seen.
Lovely area, house had all amenities you could need.

Thanks for your feedback Margaret. The house is well over 100 years old so it’s definitely dated. The horses are agisted so occasionally there will be times when the owner lets the grass regenerate - you just missed them as they are back now.
Cheers,
Melanie
We had a great stay, just one night but we came for the view of the stars and it did not disappoint - we could see the Milky Way and it was beautiful. The home has a beautiful view, has lots of space and beds and the host was responsive. Highly recommend. Botanical gardens are a short drive a way.
Melanie was so responsive and helpful with all communications from the initial booking process. The location was perfect as we were looking for a short stay nearby to Chapel Hill Retreat for a wedding. Feeding the horse on neighbouring paddock through the fence was the best highlight for son, Elijah who loves animals especially hand feeding them. We had 9 adults and 4 kids under 6 so plenty of space to accommodate and chill out together. Bonus for parents is a whole cupboard full of children’s toys and board games to keep them happy and occupied. Also play equipment outside but we couldn’t use it as it rained on/off during our stay. Best thing about the property is the peace/quiet of being out in the country/nature - really helps you to relax and decompress after a busy work week. Highly recommend Mirradong Cottage. Also must visit The Grumpy Baker for delicious baked goodies and Bilpin Cider for cider tasting (I’m sure you’ll end up buying some for the trip home!).
