Condo is nice and large, The views of Smith Creek from the second and third floors are great. Oriental is a nice town, and the coffee shop, The Bean, is very good.
We found the property to be just like the pictures. House is well kept and clean, it was nice to have garage and elevator. Loved the views from every floor and nice to have recliner to get your feet up.
We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back.
Nice property. Great water views. Thank goodness for elevators since there are lots of stairs. Sunsets were beautiful from top floor. Communication with realtor for check in and check out was very good. Enjoyed it!
We didn't know what to expect in Oriental. We really enjoyed the area. We had taken our boat and thoroughly enjoyed the Sound and all the property had to offer. I would recommend this property to people wanting a beautifully maintained house.

The dockage was great, being a veteran with a leg amputation getting to the dock and getting on the boat was very easy.the elevator made it easy to excess the floors, the shower was a challenge but made it work this was my first vacation in 6 years and it was excellent.
We had a great time in Oriental. This house is a very nice place to stay. The views of the river are amazing. House is large and roomy. The master bedroom suite is huge and also has an amazing view of the river with windows across the entire room! Kitchen is large and adequately stocked! All bedrooms were en-suite. The elevator was a life saver for my aging parents. We were sorry to have to leave, but we will be back in the fall and stay in this house again!
We loved Oriental! Enjoyed bike riding on quiet streets, playing pickleball outside in a nearby neighborhood court and exploring this unique small town with its wonderful hardware store, clothing boutique, coffee shop, art gallery, fun brewery & restaurants. The townhouse/condo offers plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen & view from the third floor are awesome. Next time we’ll bring our kayaks & launch from the boat slip.
Our only negative was the lighting. It was a little dim going up/down the stairs and seeing cards when playing around the table in the great room.
We’d love to come back.
We booked this place specifically because of the view and the elevator and the master bathroom shower…. All of which did not disappoint. When we pulled into Oriental I was a little disappointed with the town, because it wasn’t what I thought it would be at first. But after driving around a little, I actually really enjoyed it. There is a little beach area called John Bond Park that was super cute! The drive to Beaufort and Morehead city was really nice and we really enjoyed both towns. Overall, the visit to this area was great! The elevator really made staying in this property extremely enjoyable for us. There were only two towels in the master bathroom, so I would recommend maybe bringing some of your own, depending on how many days you’re there for. The guest bedroom on the second floor didn’t have any towels. The beds, linens, etc were all very comfortable. And did I mention the views?!? I would stay here again.

Jessica,
We are glad you enjoyed your stay and were able to see the charm we all have come to love. That unit should have had a total of 6 towels. I am not sure why, during your stay, you had only two. We always encourage our guests to call the office if they need anything. We do hope you will return to our area again.

The condo was very spacious and well kept. There was plenty of space for our family to spread out and relax. The views of Smith Creek were fantastic from all 3 levels. All the rooms in the house were updated (including all 4 full bathrooms). The area was also great! Oriental itself is a sleepy fishing village with some small shops and several wonderful restaurants in town. The condo is about 30 minutes to New Bern, 45 minutes to Beaufort, and only an hour to Atlantic Beach, Pine Knoll Shores, Indian Beach, and Emerald Isle. You can also get to Bath or Washington in less than an hour. There is also a grocery store in Oriental or there is a Super Walmart 10 minutes away in Grantsboro. The only small complaint we had was that there were a few things missing from the kitchen such as a pizza cutter, a good wine opener, and some smaller sharp knives for eating meat at dinner. We are also used to vacationing in Florida where the rentals typically include several kayaks, fishing equipment, bikes, coolers, etc. Having those included would have made the stay even better. Having said that, we had a great stay at a great place and we would definitely stay at this condo again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in this area.

We had a lovely time in Oriental at this beautiful condo. My husband, sister and brother-in-law tacked a few extra days on after a multi-family beach vacation to rest and unwind. The 4 of us had the best time! The condo is beautiful and Oriental was exactly what we needed. We spent time on the water in our rented boat and just enjoyed the quiet. Perfect!
This was the perfect place for the perfect getaway. Not only was it beautiful, it was so clean! Beautiful views and peaceful! Can't wait to book this place again! Loved the elevator...perfect for all of us 60+ travelers!!!
