We truly enjoyed this beautiful home! It was spotless, comfortable and well appointed. We caught fish off the private dock, dolphins were swimming nearby and the views stunning. A wonderful place to unwind.

The place was just as we had visioned. The quiet calm was just what we were looking for during our stay. The house was clean and the school of dolphins that came by on Friday was a great way to start the day. We would definitely lke to visit again in the future

Rest and relax

This property is located on the water. The sunrises and sunsets bring peace to any day. The houae is set uo for anyone to relax and enjoy. Loved the stay.

Very nice

Nice place secluded location, good kitchen and utensils, nice dock, low boat traffic, fantastic master bath, fire pit nice touch, two weeks wasn’t enough. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property

If you're looking for a beautiful place that offers peace and quiet, this is the place. If you want to do things, Oriental and New Bern aren't far away.. But this was the perfect peaceful getaway with no distractions other than nature's beauty..

Great Vacation Spot!

My husband and I very much enjoyed staying at My Pointe of View. The house is not only beautiful, but comfortable with multiple porches and great views from each of them. We had originally planned more day trips but decided to limit them so we could spend more time at the house, just enjoying the water, seeing many birds, deer (right in the back yard), and yes, finally seeing some dolphins! All in all a wonderful week!

BEAUTIFUL STAY

The house and property are one of the most beautiful places we have stayed. The house is adorable and immaculately clean. We had everything we needed for an amazing stay. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood, dining at Oriental and New Bern, and most content just sitting outside and admiring the views of the water. We were pleasantly overwhelmed with peace and tranquility. We loved our stay! We are already planning to come back in August. Thank you.

Casting Lines and Making Memories

My Point Of View is perfection! The cottage is clean and bright and stocked with necessities. My husband and I travel to fish. We are seniors and fishing has been our passion all our lives. We spent most of our time on the dock fishing. Caught a couple of speckled trout and a blue all the while enjoying the dolphins playing and feeding. Thank goodness we had perfect weather. Such a pleasure to stay in a home so fantastic and grateful for it all!

An Oasis Retreat that we look forward to Revisiting ASAP

The house is situated in the ideal spot on a peninsula. You feel like you have privacy without feeling totally isolated. The house is way cool. The view is awesome from the living room. The dock is a great bonus even if you’re just gonna watch the sunrises and sunsets. We saw dolphins swimming fairly close nearly every day. Just a tad disappointed in the fishing situation there at the house. I didn’t catch a fish at all and I tried for days. Went to North State Guide services and had a great day fishing that made up for it. Very clean property. Well maintained and looked like the pictures but better. The owners/hosts were great to work with. Beautiful area! The natural beauty (trees and natural coastline) might not be there much longer though. There was a lot of construction noise during the days. I hope the area doesn’t get over developed and take away the reason you travel there. As for now, can’t wait to go back!
