About this property

Dreamscapes | Mtn Views + Hot Tub & Movie/Game Room!

If you’re not convinced a log home in the Great Smoky Mountains can be luxurious, that’s because you’ve never been to Dreamscapes. This five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom retreat boasts an outdoor hot tub, an indoor jetted tub, a home theater, a pool table and two spacious decks among its amenities. Even better, there are spectacular views from just about every room.

Let’s start our tour of the 3,715-square-foot home on the first of its three floors. Here’s where you’ll find the game room, with a full-size billiard table, a sixty-game classic arcade table and a 50-inch flat-screen TV. The leather futon opens into a bed for two—if anyone in your party is a video-game fanatic, they may want to make this their bedroom!

Should the competition get too fierce, step out onto the deck and unwind in the hot tub. As if the jets of steamy water weren’t rejuvenating enough, you can gaze out at the lush woodlands and the mountains as you soak—sheer bliss! Once you finally force yourself to leave the tub, you can maintain the laid-back vibe by kicking back on one of the deck rocking chairs and listening to the mountain breeze rustle through the trees.

Also on the downstairs level is the home theater. As well as a 65-inch viewing screen a Blu-ray player and a sound bar, it offers genuine theater seating, complete with built-in cup holders. Go ahead, make it a double feature!

Two of the five bedrooms are on this floor as well. One includes a queen-size bed and bunk beds with a full-size bed on the bottom and a twin-size bed on top. If there’s a family with youngsters staying with you, this room will suit them to a T. Or the kids might want to commandeer this room for themselves—every night will be a slumber party! Like all the other bedrooms, this one includes a 32-inch flat-screen TV.

The other downstairs bedroom could be considered the primary suite. Then again, the bedrooms on the floors above could be considered primary suites too. They all have a lofty king-size bed and a private bathroom. This bedroom, however, has a jetted tub in its bathroom, perfect for indulging in some “me” time.

The floor above features another primary bedroom, just off the great room—and it’s a great room that truly deserves the name. A double-height vaulted ceiling, a wall of windows that offer a superlative view of the mountains and woodlands, plenty of supple leather seating, including a sofa bed that can sleep two, a stone-surround gas fireplace and a 50-inch flat-panel TV with Blu-ray player. It’s an irresistible space for hanging out with the gang or relaxing on your own.

Adjacent to the great room is the dining area, with a large table that comfortably seats ten, plus room for several more at the breakfast bar/kitchen island. When you’re not eating at the breakfast bar, you can sit there and keep the chef company—or even better, lend a hand!—at the open, fully equipped kitchen. Whether you’re planning to host a multi-course feast or simply brew coffee in the morning and mix margaritas at night, you’ll find all the appliances, cookware and tableware you could possibly need.

The remaining two bedrooms are on the top floor, as is a sitting room. If you need to catch up on work or emails, you’ll appreciate the desk, and of course, Dreamscapes’ free Wi-Fi. If you’re looking for a quiet place to read or have a private chat, you’ll find the two leather settees ideal.

Also ideal is Dreamscapes’ setting! Wonderfully peaceful and private, yet just a five-minute drive from Bent Creek Golf Course and also close to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the attractions of both downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

It might be corny to say that Dreamscapes is a dream getaway, but it happens to be true! So, make your dream vacation a reality, and book your stay today.

Way out

Cabin was big. Had a view of the mountains that were awesome. Had a bear visitor. Internet out that far is wayyy bad. There were a few issues but the biggest was the chipmunk that was mummified under the pullout in the living room. Parking was more limited than I had hoped. It was very quiet and I slept well.

Beautiful

The house was very clean and decorated beautifully for Christmas. View was breathtaking. Not too far from downtown. A lightbulb needed to be replaced and maintenance came and fixed it that night. Very happy with our stay and can't wait for next year!

Beautiful Mountain Home.

We were well pleased with the cabin. Beautiful cabin with an awesome view. There was 9 of us and we had plenty of room. We usually have a problem with parking, but there is ample parking here. We had 4 vehicles, but you could easily put 6 or 7. I was a little worried about driving up to the cabin, but it wasn't that bad and pretty close to Gatlinburg. It has the normal squeeks for a cabin, but thats part of the charm. Would 100% rent again!

Had a Wonderful Trip With Friends

This house was perfect for our annual reunion of friends! Large rooms and plenty of space to spread out. We enjoyed cooking our meals together and sitting in the rockers on the deck enjoying the view of the mountains. The pictures are true to what it is really like. The house was clean and met all of our needs. We all agreed that we will come back to Dreamscapes!

Beautiful home

Clean home. Kitchen had limited serving dishes, pans, storage lids and no containers. We had 11 people and for one week stay they left two dishwasher pods and hand soap the size of a small mint in each bathroom. Also advertisement said there was a gas grill and it was a charcoal, so go prepared. Ice maker broke and service provided in 48 hours. Over all a great experience even with the few frustrations.

Gatlinburg

Overall I would say the cabin was really nice and clean. You could tell it has been stayed in a lot. The carpet is pretty worn and there was no organization to the kitchen cabinets and where stuff was placed in there. The views could have been better if some small trees and weeds would have been cut down by the porch. Would definitely stay there again though.

The property is exactly as advertised. Everything was seamless, I did have to call customer service upon checkout becuase I didn’t receive the correct email to check out, but they were very helpful and took care of it over the phone. Very cute, we will be back for sure!

An amazing house with plenty of room to spread out!

This was our second stay in Dreamscapes and the house was absolutely perfect! We meet with college friends each year, this house provides ample space, private bedrooms and baths, a large table for meals, and a rocking chair on the deck for everyone! The house is clean and the beds are comfortable. My only complaint is that the trees have grown and the view we had the first trip is no longer there. Barb, KY

Great house for our family of 16!

Perfect location about 20 minutes east of Gatlinburg. Gorgeous mountain views from every floor. Nice outdoor seating areas. Perfect set up for our family. Loved the kids room, theater and game room downstairs. Very comfortable and cozy. Excellent hot water and water pressure. Grill is charcoal so come prepared. And bring extra ice as ice maker didn't work great for us.

Night in the Mountains

My friends and I stayed here for a night to celebrate a birthday and have a getaway in the mountains! The place was amazing and super clean. We stayed in that night and went to downtown gatlinburg that next morning, and we were not bored at this cabin! Lots of fun things to do with a pretty view. The entry code initially did not work but a simple call got it fixed right away. Cell service and WiFi was great in contrast to previous reviews I had read when booking. Was not disappointed at all and hope to go back!

Spacious nice cabin and solid location

Spacious nice cabin and solid location, although road is somewhat steep and wouldn’t want to make it in icy conditions. The pros of cabin: well appointed and decorated. Spacious. Terrific views and porch. Clean overall and nice look. Great lot and nice neighborhood. The cons: Media experience —- Theater room had multiple issues which required maintenance and never ultimately worked. WiFi was very slow, virtually impossible to stream. CO detectors chirping in cabin when we arrived.. Had to call Mgmt Company 3x to address various issues. Overall, a super fun weekend with 14 friends hanging out! We owned in the area a rental cabin for 11 years and now come back and rent a place at least once every year. Truthfully, we will stay some place else next time just because there are too any great choices and a few rough edges on this experience.

Overall for us we managed fine

We had many issues stove knobs broke and could not see labels for ones that did work the oven had a horrible chemical smell when on the basement level was freezing windows leaked with air carpet had wet spots in the bottom level I had to hand wash dishes dishwasher left dishes dirty. Beds were crooked on lower level freezer leaked water on floor no WiFi living room lite flickered like a strobe lite gates were open when we got there couldn’t get into the house we had wrong code. Couldn’t open lock box either I expected better for the price but visually it was beautiful we had our family time

OK when you need a lot of rooms & allowing pets

Great things- the view is wonderful and it is close enough to Gatlinburg. There is space between this cabin and others around it for privacy. There is a big table for a large group to gather but there is also enough space for people to have privacy. Parking space was adequate for 4 cars. Ok things- there are a lot of cooking utensils but not a lot of items for cooking for a bigger group- the only large frying pan had a broken handle, there were no pot holders to pull things out of the oven. The beds were comfortable but the quilts/decorative pillows did not smell clean. Water pressure in showers was mixed throughout the house. Flooring is chipped/ripped and pieces of it were found throughout the home. Problems- we found problems slowly, which required multiple calls to maintenance. The tub downstairs was running when we checked in and could not be turned off. The dishwasher had a piece of paper taped over it saying not to use it because of leaks. The internet passwords would not work. The movie theater was not connected at all for easy use. All required talking with staff to rectify during our stay.

House was really nice, main areas & bathrooms clean and had most everything you would need. The cabin floorplan was great for 3 couples & 5 kids we had on trip. The bedrooms are very cozy and the cabin view & setting were superb. The furnishings and cabin architecture were very well thought out and executed with quality and comfort in mind. Just a few notes: the carpeting looks somewhat new but was dingy, possibly just need a good cleaning. We had 11 people and cooked big breakfasts & dinners for everyone over 3 day period, so had brought quite a bit of food with us. Kitchen layout great, but silverware runs a bit short. Not enough forks or spoons so had to use salad forks and lg. tablespoons at place settings to fill in. There were several small, med skillet &, saucepans only up to 2- 3 qt sz., no lg. pots you would cook chili or pasta in, so if making spaghetti, chili or pancakes may need to bring some of your own cookware that will work for larger amount of food. We only had 11 and brought our own griddle & lg pasta pot so we were fine. Some pots had grease and food on them, so we washed everything before we used it. There is a lg crock pot in kitchen that can be used. No DVR or CD player in Great Room so supply your own way to play music or DVD's upstairs. May need a cooler to keep your drinks in, if you are bringing a lot of food, to give you enough fridge space. OVERALL THE EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT, Several members of our group are known for being super clean and neat obsessed, (my son calls me Monk, ha) and WE WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN! THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE TO MAKE THE CABIN NICE AND HOSPITABLE FOR GUESTS!!

Great stay, but a few things that can be improved

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. But there are a few things, that require some improvement: the internet is extremely slow. As there is barely any 5G in the mountains, you need to use the Wi-Fi. Also, the kitchen is not equipped for cooking for/with 12 people, only a few pans and pots. Lastly, the hot tub doesn’t work properly: only a few jet nozzles working, hot tub lighting not working. But in general a very nice cabin, the location and view are great

Great for large family stays!

The location was perfect for us- a 5 min drive to downtown Gatlinburg, but nice to not be too close to the downtown traffic. We loved the mountain view (though some trees are getting tall), the hot tub, pool table, movie theatre (though sound system wasn't hooked up & seats showing wear) for kids & adults alike! We had 9 adults, 2 teens, and two toddlers and this was an amazing size. We each had our own spaces and didn't wake each other up. The kitchen is giant and perfect for group meals and board game nights. We had a bit of difficulty when we got in that the code didn't work. We were able to call and get into the lockbox when their other code didn't work. During our stay the upstairs AC was intermittent which was rough for July, but Jackson Mountain responded quickly to take a look and offer a portable unit in the meantime. A few notes: internet was basically non existent. At 6am we could use our phones to look up trails and restaurants, but otherwise we had to drive into town as the wifi and our LTE was not doing it. We also had a small dog with us (which was amazing we could bring as it was so hard to find good pet friendly rentals!) but there isn't a ton of space outside the property to take them on a walk. My dog was fine with that, but maybe yours wouldn't be. My elderly grandmother also had a bit of difficulty in the cabin. We hoped to keep her on the main level since there was a bedroom and bathroom and she wouldn't have to deal with stairs, but the bed was too high for her to get up onto and the walk in shower was in the lower level. Just to keep in mind if you have anyone with accessibility concerns. We would definitely stay here again as waking up to that view and sitting out on the porch literally made the trip. Thanks for hosting us!

Wonderful House With Amazing Views

The house was everything we hoped it would be! The pictures don't begin to do it justice. Very comfortable, and worth the price just for the awe inspiring views. I thank the hosts again and again for allowing us to have our dogs with us. A family gathering wouldn't have been complete without them. The only thing that wasn't perfect was that there was very limited potty areas for the pups, but given the location that could not possibly be helped. I would absolutely stay there again!
