Very comfortable with great location for bush walks rock pool beach and Zac’s place

We really enjoyed our stay in Anchored cottage Spacious inside with well stocked modern kitchen and lovely back yard Generous bedrooms and 2 bathrooms

Great weekend

Anchored Currarong is wonderfully renovated with great amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Currarong which has plenty to see in terms of beaches, coastline, reserves and bush walks. I will unreservedly recommend this accomodation to family, friends and colleagues

Great Short Break

We all relaxed immediately in this wuirky little cottage. We found the kitchen easy to use and had the best bbq's in the back yard. A short walk to the beach through the caravan park, and a coffee van on theway. Perfect.

Great Christmas stay

A lovely ,cosy house with everything you need for a greeat stay. Communications were prompt and friendly.We were welcomed with a great welcome package. Even doggy treats for our dog who settled in immediately. We would use the house again

Great Family Holiday House

Great little holiday house for a family. We were a group of older adults catching up after year and it was a coldish winter weekend. So when indoors spaces didn't quite suit our needs - no outlook and living area is as it looks in the photos - long dark and narrow space with couch along one wall just inside the front door. But can imagine for a family quite fab and especially in summer with front and rear doors to the house open.

Best dressed holiday rental ever

The Anchorage is possibly to best interior design I've ever seen in a holiday let. It was like stepping into a design magazine spread! But once in, nothing was so fussy or overdone that we were uncomfortable. The owners have created a homely, relaxing space, inside the house and out. Everything was so thoughtfully finished and the welcome basket from the owner was a lovely touch. The outdoor shower and bathrooms were very popular with all of us. And finally! A holiday let with enough wine glasses AND champagne flutes! Could not have asked for more.

Well appointed beach cottage getaway

Sandra was a lovely host to communicate with and made the process painless. The space is very well appointed, funky and well decorated with all the mod cons. Cozy spaces and exciting features in every room. Amazing outdoor bath off the master bedroom, and an outdoor hot shower on the front veranda. Close to the beach and shops, everything is within walking distance.

What a great and well thought out place to stay, exceptional communication with host, Sandra really thought of everything. You can tell a lot of love has gone into this property, it was a home away from home, can’t wait to stay again

Super comfortable stay

Our stay at the Anchorage in Currarong was most enjoyable and met all our needs with a family of seven adults. We found the backyard games room was perfect as a peaceful remote office for our daughter and a small single room perf3ct for my elderly mother and the small separate lounge and outdoor BBQ useful too for family catch ups . We loved the fantastic walk in shower and coffee machine, good sized fridge and very effective wifi ( extending to games room) .The laundry with washer and dryer useful too. Tastefully and imaginatively styled with a very useful outdoor shower room and parking for 2 cars. Sandra was also most responsive and flexible with our concerns about COVID .

Beautiful renovation of beach cottage

Lovely beach cottage that has undergone a recent renovation. Very responsive owner who left a lovely gift pack and provided a 12md check out which made all the difference to our long weekend. A very cosy feel to the house, 5 mn walk to the water. Would love to return in summer.

Funky comfy beach shack

The funkiest place I've stayed at. Everything looks handmade and creates a space that is its own world. The place is ready for you to move in with linen and generous supplies. A signature property.

Great place for an easy get away

We had a fabulous three-day stay @Anchored Currarong. We were a group of 3 adults and we had plenty of room to be together or be separate when we wanted a bit of space. The property is quirky, clean, and comfortable - there are lots of little touches to make it feel like home and easy to just arrive and stay put! Sandra was a great host, gave lots of local information, and made checking in a breeze. She has obviously put a lot of thought into making Anchored Currarong welcoming and comfortable. The property is located within a 5-minute walk to the local shop and beach parkland. There are great off-leash areas not far from the house so if you are taking puppers they will love it too!!!
