Welcome to "Sandy Bottoms Beach House", a spacious and peaceful waterfront home on Big Pea Porridge Pond in Madison, NH with 4 bedrooms, 4 baths and sleeping for up to 8 people.
As you enter into this lovely home, you are greeted by the open concept living space that includes a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, dining area, living room with cozy sectional sofa and beautiful brick fireplace and a full bath. Also on the main level are two spacious bedrooms, the first with a full bed and twin bed, the second is a master suite with full bed and twin bed and a bathroom with shower. Upstairs you will find a spacious loft with sitting area with TV, 2 bedrooms each with a full bed and twin size bunk bed and a full bathroom. The finished walkout basement offers a great family room with TV, ping pong table, pool table and bathroom. From the lower level you can access the back yard which leads out to the lovely waterfront on Big Pea Porridge Pond. Here you will find a partially sandy beach, outdoor fire pit, 2 one person kayaks, and 3 youth kayaks (150 pound max). The beach offers southern exposure and is mostly sunny throughout the day (weather pending of course). The house also features a large deck that looks out over the pond, perfect for star gazing at night or enjoying a delightful cup of coffee in the morning. We all had a great time, the house was clean, the bedrooms were all fine, the layout of the house was great for entertainment. Courtney was so helpful with all my questions and got back to you promptly. The pond was also nice.

We took advantage of the kayaks on the pond and the pool table in the basement. Courtney at Select real estate and the owner were very responsive and quickly addressed a couple of issues on our first day there. It is a beautiful spot to spend with family on the pond. Would definitely return again!

First Annual Family Fall Trip

Absolutely incredible home and location. You can feel the family spirit within the house. Had an amazing time with 3 generations of my family. We kayaked, fished and just took in the most spectacular views I’ve ever seen. Close to North Conway too for those that are looking for something in that area. Would 100% stay there again.

Well worth it

The ease of staying directly on the pond was well worth it. Plenty of kayaks, canoes and outdoor gear. House is dated but clean and extremely well stocked. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year!

Beautiful, spacious lake house

My friends and I had a great time at Sandy Bottom house. The home is as spacious as the photos make it seem - we had plenty of space for sleeping arrangements and hanging out in the great room/dining room. We went cross country skiing on the frozen lake and North Conway/ski locations are a 20-30 minute drive. Only complaint is lack of linens - do make sure to bring sheets/pillow cases and ALL towels (including hand towels and bath mats). Note you'll have to check in at the realestate office ~15 minutes from the home (but the house has a keyless entry so I hope they change this policy soon).

Sandy Bottom Beach House a hidden gem

The location was beautiful, the house was large and comfortable for large or small gatherings. Loved the family pictures on the walls that gave a sense of history of how special this house is. I could imagine children playing in the yard, riding bikes in the driveway, swimming, fishing, kayaking and just floating in the clean water. We had three days of rain, but the layout of the house made for good times playing cards, games, doing puzzles , pool, ping pong, and hanging out. This house is perfect for a group of friends or extended family vacations

Pond house

This is a very spacious camp on the pond, well worn but loved..Fun water activities available, however equipment worn.We sighted bald eagles , geese and deer.Close to North Conway, hiking trails. National Park .Overall a very good experience.

Nice, homey, comfortable

Very nice house, well stocked kitchen, nice Tv, comfy couch. Beds were a little small, but comfortable and plenty of them. Very close to N. Conway, easy to find. I was a little concerned that it was right next to a boat ramp, but it was very quiet. The main fireplace was great, there was lots of firewood), the upstairs fireplace had a sign 'do not use'. The grill is a Weber, there was extra gas, worked well.
