Make your morning coffee and take in the fresh morning sea air, then as the sun starts to shine, wander down to the beach and spend the day walking along the 1.5km stretch of beach and jump in the ocean to cool off.

Or, stay cool out of the sun on the sheltered verandah that wraps around the house, still overlooking the uninterrupted views. Sit back with a book, fire up the BBQ, dine alfresco, or simply watch the tide.

Poppy's Beach House is low-key, comfortable and has all the holiday must-haves: a fully equipped kitchen including a water filter to make water safe to drink, an outdoor shower for rinsing off, and a selection of board games and toys for the kids!

The local store and playground are also within walking distance if you need an ice-cream on those warm summer afternoons or just to pick up some supplies. For the keen boaties, the boat ramp is a short drive away, as is the famous New Chums Beach at the northern end of Whangapoua.
