About this property
Forest City Villa for big families/10mins to city centers
Our Villa is very suitable for large families. There is a trail next to the house. The lush primitive trees along the trail form this quiet and unique natural oxygen bar. Nearby neighbors are walking here. During the day, you can make a pot of tea in the garden, under the trees, two or three confidantes, looking at the blue sky and white clouds, listening to the waves of pine trees, and watching the trees, warm and romantic from now on. Of course, we are also within 10 minutes away from the city, shopping centers, and restaurants and supermarkets.

This was a wonderful home with so much space for our family to spread out. Lovely sitting areas, sun room, and yard. I especially loved walking on the trails behind the house in the beautiful forest.
Quirky house, but had everything you need. Just what it said it was, and the owners were easy to deal with. Nice back section. Google tries to lead you down a footpath, but the owners instructions were great.
Very good house. One note - we stayed in the house in April, it was a rainy day and it was cool in the house, but the owners did not leave firewood for us.
Beautiful home. My family loved taking pictures in nearly every room due to the decoration. Close to city center. Google maps takes you to the wrong address but easy to get to when you figure it out. Larger cars might have an issue with the narrowness of the gare when leaving but we managed. I left a lighter, kindling and fire starters for the next people as we could find anything at the property to start the beautiful fireplaces with.
I will 100% be booking this property in the future.
Thank you Amy
2A + 1C aged 15 years. The house is spacious and quiet. A bit dated and needs some TLC and athorough clean (carpets need a good vacuum) but perfectly comfortable. The fireplace did a great job of heating the house - we closed the doors to rooms we weren't using to maximise the heat. Like other guests, we too found the gate entrance a tight squeeze - we have an SUV so just needed to take it slow.
Lovely location. Quiet home. Beds need upgrade.
Very modern kitchen. Washer good. Dryer ineffectual. Clothes line dirty. Access to backyard difficult as back door locked
This truly massive, rambling manor is a great launchpad for adventures in the city. Loved the classic look and interior decor, the conservatory, and the many interesting nooks and crannies. It does get cold in winter, but heaters are provided for each bedroom. One fireplace was out of order and the other didn't have wood. The garden is a little derelict and the driveway/gate is very narrow - will be a problem if you're driving a hummer. But aside from these minor niggles I can't recommend this place highly enough.
Had a overnight stay with family and friends. Good size 4 bed rooms accommodated 11 including grownup kids. However, bedrooms were bit cold in the night and ideal for 10 grownups to sleep. House is old but amenities were clean and tidy. Unfortunately, our stay was disturbed a lot because of a damaged / unusable bathroom as it limited us to use only one bathroom for 11 to use within our stay. The host was informed the damage just before the check-in and provided us an alternative solution. But the solution didn’t work well for us and our stay ended up with extra 100++ dollars additional to $700+ paid for our one night stay.
Quiet hideaway in Rotorua, Property a little dated but overall a comfortable stay. Bit difficult to driver thru the gate as it on an angle and rather tight
Really nice house. It was very cold when we stayed, but the lovely fire kept us warm. Excellent kitchen with everything we needed to cook our meals there.
