Privacy! Quiet! Fun! Eagles. Fishing. Swimming. Boating. Skiing. Tubing. Relaxing. Star Gazing. Family Time. Kayaking, Grilling Out (gas grill). These are some of the many fun and exciting activities you can do on site. Our Log Home is located 1 mile down a mostly blacktopped road, of which we are surrounded by lots of trees.

Stay at our beautiful log cabin, that offers a spacious, 6500 sq. ft, 5 bedroom plus loft. 4 BA, a wood burning fireplace (wood provided) and a wood stove. Nestled at the end of a wooded lane on 3 acres, you will enjoy your privacy and what Mother Nature is offering. Located near 7MM on the Big Niangua arm with calm water, this home offers the benefits of living on the lake without all the noise and traffic. Perfect for spending time with the family for a weekend getaway, a family vacation or even a family reunion, wedding, church retreats; Sleeps 22.

This home has three decks on the back of the house, relax on the screened in upper deck, out of the sun, or enjoy the beautiful views of the lake from any of the decks. You might even see a bald eagle or two! If your party wants to rent a boat or jet-skis from the nearby Marina, the dock offers 2 jet-ski lifts and 1 boat slip, as well as a large swim deck, fun for all ages. A public access boat ramp is located within a mile. Adults can enjoy watching sports or a movie in the game room while playing pool or working out on the exercise equipment. This secluded house is located in a picturesque setting surrounded by trees and beautiful landscaping. Let your vacation start here...

Sorry no party groups, no smoking or Vaping, and no pets.
Minimum age 25, to sign the contract, and must also be staying at our log home.

We have our own cancellation policy.
CANCELLATIONS- A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date, a $200.00 administration fee is charged. Cancellations that are made within 30-59 days of the arrival date, will incur a 50% penalty of the total rental rate and taxes. Cancellations within 30 days of arrival date forfeit 100% of total rental rate and taxes. Cleaning fees and security deposit will be refunded. Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. We do not refund rent or deposits lost due to canceled or shortened stays because of weather. Departures due to inclement weather do not warrant refund of rent or deposit.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Clean the Grill.
Lock the Kayaks/paddleboards and return the keys to their proper location. Pull swim ladder up out of the water. Have watermat secured on dock.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
I agree to the owner’s rental contract [the contract] ; agree when a conflict exist the contract will supersede agreements or contracts with VRBO.com.
I agree to be bound by the cancellation policy in the contract and not the cancellation policy on VRBO.com.

Wonderful remote getaway

Words cannot express the way this home opens up and draws you in. There were plenty of bedrooms for everyone and they were all very nice and quiet. We especially enjoyed the upper deck and the dock. Lake life at it's best right here!

We enjoyed everything about this cabin!! We had a variety of weather during our stay, but whether it was raining or sunny, there were plenty of options for activities. And a dining room table big enough for our group of 11 to eat together!!!

Family Vacation at LOZ

Our vacation at Terrie and Terry's lake house at the "Magic Dragon" was outstanding! The house was everything as advertised and more. The pier, dock and shoreline were excellent for swimming, fishing, kayaking, and jet skiing. The kitchen had wonderful appliances and serving items to meet our cooking needs, and the grill worked perfectly. The owners could not have been more responsive. Five stars all the way. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Lake of the Ozarks!Kraig, Joele and Family

Wonderful experience

Our group consisted of 8 adults and 9 grandchildren ages 6 to 19. The house was big and comfortable. The game room with pool and shuffleboard was fun at night. The location of house was not near alot of other houses so it was quiet and private. It was in a small cove so swimming area was set back from boat traffic. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances, dishes etc. Owners were very responsive to our questions. Can rave enough about this place. We loved our whole experience

We had an amazing stay with our extended family—including grandparents, siblings and spouses, and grandchildren. The bunk loft was perfect for the older grandkids, and every family had the comfort of a private bedroom. The kitchen was outstanding, the amenities top-notch, and the peaceful lakefront location was ideal for our big family getaway.We spent our days boating, tubing, paddle boarding, and swimming, while some family members even enjoyed running the hilly drive for exercise. The many porches and decks were wonderful—perfect for gathering to play cards, or for finding a quiet spot to read while the little ones napped. There was plenty of seating for family meals and for relaxing together in the evenings.We made priceless family memories at LOZ Family Fun Lakefront Log and can’t wait to return!

Our family began gathering each Labor Day weekend three years ago after losing our mother Mary. She asked my sister in law to make sure we all came together under one roof each year so we do this in her honor. This home was so perfect for our large group ranging in ages 2 to 66. The house is massive, with plenty of space to gather or sneak off to a cozy corner with your book and coffee. My favorite space was the screened in porch overlooking the lake and dock…heavenly! The kids loved the dock, lily pad, kayaks and fishing! We all especially enjoyed hanging out around the fire pit and watching the boats go by. The home is very clean and comfortably furnished. The kitchen & baths were well stocked; if you need it Terri & Terry have already thought of it!The booking experience with this lovely couple was amazing. They got back to us with questions and made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend!

We had an all family vacation with 20 of us gathering together, ages from 8-80. We all enjoyed the home and everything that was offered with the home. Great property in an isolated location. Comfortably held our 4 families - 8 Adults and 11 Kids. Nice conveniences - including an LP Blackstone Griddle. Felt like we had the lake to ourselves in the evening.

We had a cozy stay at this property. Everything was good and the property manager was courteous. The only thing that we missed was enough lighting in the home. It looked gloomy and dull when we spent time inside the home.

The Lake House was a perfect place for our annual family lake trip. Everyone had a bed. The home was clean and well stocked. We spent most of our time on the dock - the lake toys were amazing for the teenagers in our group. The evenings were spent around the fire pit - singing and sharing stories. Restful place Perfect for our needs

This place was perfect. Our family of 18 had plenty of space. The teenager and kids enjoyed the loft. The kitchen was ideal, large and well stock with all the utensils needed. The dining areas were great. Our whole family found places to rest and play. The dock with the lily pad was used all the time. And the two refrigerators by the kitchen were ideal. As good as it gets!!

We had a wonderful time with our family at this location! The hosts were prompt in answering any questions we had. There were 15 of us, and each couple had a bedroom. The loft was perfect for our grandchildren! They loved it! The views were wonderful, and the kids loved hearing and seeing the raccoons at night. We would stay here again.
