Great location at the north end of the cycle track. Over looks the beach and has a large sliding door on the lounge and we really enjoyed the sound of the waves and the view of the water from the unit. The bedroom also has an open view through the lounge and we enjoyed leaving the curtain open and woke up to the view of the waves coming in over the rocks. The outdoor deck and table allows for outdoor dining or simple relaxation. Overall a great quiet location with a comfortable well appointed unit. A great place for a relaxing stay. Note cellphone reception low and radio reception poor. We used Rova on the phone with wifi for radio. Overall we enjoyed the property and will be back again.

Thank you for such a lovely and detailed review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the peaceful location, ocean views and the relaxing sound of the waves. It’s wonderful to know you made the most of the outdoor deck and enjoyed waking up to those beautiful views from the bedroom. We also appreciate you noting the mobile phone and radio reception. We’re glad you found a good workaround using the Wi-Fi. It’s fantastic to hear you enjoyed your stay and are planning to return. We look forward to welcoming you back! - BBK Team

The perfect Get Away

Our Hosts were lovely… making us feel very welcome. The views spectacular - so much so that despite bad weather we were very happy to stay put and appreciate the view and location. Well equiped with reading material and Netflix etc. Well worth the fee and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful view of the ocean

We loved staying here and even had a small pod of orca whales swim past. We think they were hunting. The view is gorgeous in all weathers and interesting to watch at different tides. Definitely take your binoculars.

Terrific Te Moana

This was an awesome little property, in a lovely spot with a great view. We stayed for three nights but would have been happy to stay here longer if we had the time. The location on the coastal walkway was an added bonus too, we walked to the city and back- not a short walk but doable on a mild autumn day. Te Moana was very well equipped and very comfy- with everything you could possibly need. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the area and be happy to also recommend this place to friends and family. Thank you for a great stay.

Gateway to anywhere in Taranaki

Arriving on the 27th of Dec to amazing weather and a beautiful semi attached bach. The pictures do not lie, and we were grateful for being able to share in this peaceful little community. We spent time exploring the region all the way up to Otrohanga to Hawera and Oakura. You can watch people fishing, swimming or just enjoying the coastal walks. It was a 7 night stay and would encourage anyone who likes easy to intermediate walks to explore the area and then come back to a pristine comfy place to put your head down. Definitely would stay here again.

Beautiful spot

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A great location, absolutely beautiful view and very well equipped property. The only things I would note is that the bed was quite firm, footsteps from the above unit could be heard (we misunderstood and assumed it was standalone because it says entire place) and the parking was in a public carpark opposite the property infront of the water so the car did need the Seaspray rinsed off afterwards. All in all it was a great place to stay and I would return if staying in the area again.
