Escape and take a vacation in style on the sunny Mexican Riviera! Enjoy the newest premier condominium, privately owned and located right on the beach. It is located in the modern tourist resort of Ixtapa on El Palmar Beach. It is only about 15 miles from the Airport and about three miles from the laid-back community of Zihuantanejo. Year-round high temperatures of over 80 degrees with no Atlantic Ocean or Gulf of Mexico type hurricanes.

Infinity pools, hot tubs, and a full-service pool bar and restaurant. There is something for everyone; game room, spa, exercise room (with a small daily usage fee), and golf at the near Palmar Real Golf Course located across the street.

This luxurious condominium has an open floor plan - 2,695 square feet which includes 442 square feet of balcony with private jacuzzi hot tub and patio furniture. This fully-equipped condominium has three bedrooms, additional maid or nanny's quarters, four bathrooms, wet bar and a utility room with washer and dryer.

This beautiful condominium overlooks the beach and the mountains in the heart of Ixtapa and is within walking distance of all the action. Enjoy the spectacular sunsets over the ocean from the large, fifth floor balcony and in your own private hot tub.

The master bedroom has a king bed, the first guest room has one queen bed and one double bed, and the other guest room has one double bed and one single bed. There is also an additional small bedroom that can be used as maid or nanny quarters, if needed. The living room has large comfortable sofas and chairs that are great for afternoon siestas with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and mountain cliffs.

Cleaning, cooking and babysitting services are available through our rental management company. The kitchen is fully-equipped, but there are also many fine restaurants, night life and sporting activities within walking distance. The condo has high-speed broadband internet access, if you want to bring your computer with you.

The Palma Real Golf Course (Robert Trent Jones, Jr. design - now known as Campo de Golf Ixtapa) is located across the street, and there is another championship golf course (Marina Ixtapa Golf Club) just two miles away near the marina.

Professional local rental management is provided by Best Properties. They are proficient in English and provide convenient check-in and check-out, can arrange other services such as cleaning, babysitting and cooking, and are an excellent source of information on the Ixtapa area.

The property was beautiful. I liked that the door was electronic locks. I would have paid an extra fee for family to visit between certain times. That is what I would suggest improvement on. Bay view was beautiful though as well as the property. Security was very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay again

Owner was great at communication and flexibility. Management company was below average. Staff on site do a very good job and our family enjoyed a clean, safe holiday. Like most photos provided online you get half the story and it all looks so quiet... NOT so much in the real world. Sadly the deck of this unit listens to the HVAC of the large hotel next door 24/7 so no soft sounds of waves on the beach...ever. Then the DJ's next door start about 8pm (every night but Sunday) BLASTING the bass until at least 11pm most nights, later on Friday and Saturday! Daytime is a little better except the deliveries and shop for the hotel next door is right below this unit...so more noise.The unit is very spacious, the deck and living room furniture are comfortable. Kitchen is very minimally equipped. Example (no measuring cups or spoons). AC units do a good job of cooling things down, but you need a remote for each one, then another for each fan in the apartment. Decore is probably same as when built and you will notice limited photos provided of the unit probably for that reason. This unit needs some TLC and a refresh to compete but not sure that's the goal. We had family in 3 other smaller units and this was our gathering place that worked very well. Staff on site do an excellent job but it's a bit confusing on what staff handle and what the management company is supposed to take care of. We had a good number of people who had safety concerns and this was never a issue during our stay

I do appreciate the compliments made by this guest. However, the criticisms are exaggerated or inaccurate at best, and in some cases, outright false. And I am happy to answer any and all questions you may have. This guest seemed to be a nice person, but I have been renting this condo for many years and have never had such a hyper-sensitive guest. At one point, this guest even complained that one of the staff at this Mexican resort spoke Spanish, and not high-fluency English. A trip to Ixtapa is more of a real Mexican experience than most of the major resort towns in Mexico. And most of my guests are repeat guests, some who have been renting from me for over 10 years.

We stayed in apartment 501-S in early August 2009. The apartment is very spacious and can accommodate large parties (we were 5 adults and 4 kids and had more than enough room for all of us). The apartment is very well appointed, with three bedrooms (one king bed, two double beds and two single beds) as well as a maid’s room. Each bedroom, including the maid’s room, has its own bath. The amenities at the BVG Ixtapa are amazing, it is not only right by the beach but it also has two beautiful pools, jacuzzis (including one in the terrace of the apartment!), a great artificial grass tennis court (we are tennis lovers and were impressed by the quality of the court), play rooms, you name it. It is also located within walking distance of the shopping center and restaurants in Ixtapa. The staff at the BVG and the people managing the apartment are all very friendly. In summary, we had a great time, if you are planning on spending a vacation in Ixtapa go to apartment 501-S, you will not be disappointed.

Another wonderful stay at BVG Residencia

My husband and I have been visiting Ixtapa since 1977 when we fell in love with it. We have been staying at Bay View Grand since 2010. We usually rent a 2 bedroom, but this year we brought more family members with us and rented this terrific 3 bedroom. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us and the condo is nicely appointed. Plenty of bathrooms for all and room to spread out and not feel cramped. Views from the terrace are gorgeous, and there is even a hot tub. Would definitely rent this unit again if bringing more than just the 2 of us.

Relaxing Stay at an Exceptional Beach and Property

We had another wonderful stay at this beautiful and well appointed BVG condo (this was our 4th). A visit to Ixtapa is well worth the travel. A fine white sandy beach that stretches for several miles from end to end, it is inviting for all family members. Whether an early morning or late afternoon walk, kids building sand castles or throwing balls or frisbees, playing in the surf or in one of the two pools, or simply lounging on one of the many beach or pool side chairs, this beach can accommodate anyone. The ocean can have some larger waves but the BVG tends to be on the calmer side of the beach and the waves are no problem for decent swimmers. The waves toward the middle of the beach or the BVG Marina are much rougher and depending upon swimming ability can make an ocean swim virtually impossible. As for the condo, it is within one of the most impressive structures in Ixtapa. All units have nice views but located at the end of one of the wings, this unit commands impressive views of the ocean, as well as sunrises and sunsets. The patio stretches the length of the unit and can accommodate all guests at the same time, whether eating an outdoor meal or simply watching the day pass quietly by, it is an ideal place to sit. Each of the three bedrooms have ample space and privacy, as well as their own connected bathrooms. The pictures on the website are accurate but do not quite do justice to the overall size of each room's space. The kitchen is a nice size, with all needed accessories and has ample counter space. The open family room/dinning room is massive and the furniture very comfortable. Located on the 5th floor, the unit is easily accessible by elevator or for those who want a little extra exercise, walking up the internal staircase. One note must be made that as the unit is located on the southside, it sits above the hotel next door and one can hear the sounds or the somewhat nightly shows performed there - but they end at 10:00 and the noise is not overly loud in any event. The last aspect of the BVG itself is the location. Situated across the street from a local market, one can shop and haggle for local souvenirs. A slightly longer walk - but still very quick - brings one to a 7/11 type convenience store to one direction, and a large shopping area in the other direction. This shopping area contains scores of wonderful restaurants, offering a variety of different cuisines. Lastly, Vic is a joy to work with. Can't recommend more.

What a perfect spot for a relaxing vacation!

The location of the property is second to none. Very short walk to anything you need. The views from the balcony are wonderful. We enjoyed our morning coffee each day out there. The condo itself is fantastic. Plenty of room for our family to spread out and have our own space. The kitchen had everything we needed while we were there. The living room was very spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of comfortable furniture, but not so much that it felt crowded. The property manager was very helpful! She set us up with a cleaning lady who cleaned the condo while we were there for about $20USD. Having laundry right there was fantastic. We were able to pack less because of this. The entire complex is very secure. We felt very comfortable letting our kids wonder on their own. The pools are wonderful. Even though we were on the younger side of the crowd there, and we had kids (not many kids around) everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The owner was very responsive and helpful answering questions and giving useful information to help us enjoy our stay. We most definitely would like to return again, and again! If you book a stay here, you will not be disappointed!

I love this location in the world. Ixtapa is beautiful and the weather is always the same.

We had lots of issues with our condo and that made everything very frustrating in the beginning. Best properties did what they could to rectify the many issues. Lucky thing we were there for a month and did get to enjoy some of our time.

Our guests raised issues during their stay, but these issues were remedied promptly by the Best Properties management company. There was a hole in one of their sheets, and these sheets were replaced. One of the guests broke a chair and tore the fabric of the seat cover (this chair was not reported as broken by previous guests or Best Properties), and this chair was repaired, at our expense. And there was a clogged drain in the kitchen caused by the dishwasher, and this drain was cleaned out. But I believe the real reason which caused our guests to nitpick at these issues was that these guests originally booked their reservation for 2 people to stay at our condo. Then later, they requested for one of their children and family to join them. We generously agreed that they could, which increased the number of guests to 6 people, even though we had to pay the additional resort fees. But the real problem started when, right before their arrival date, the guests contacted me and said that they had made non-refundable flight reservations for 11 guests to come to Ixtapa and stay at our condo! I immediately told them this was not possible, because the condo Association rules restrict the occupancy of our condo to 9 people. This was upsetting to the guests, but it would be illegal to have 11 people. In the end, we generously allowed the guests to have the maximum of 9 guests stay at our condo, and we paid the additional resort fees for the additional people without charging the guests. But the guests had to book and pay for other accommodations for their excess guests and they were not happy about this. So I guess no good deed goes unpunished!

Spring Break with my family

My family and a few friends came down for Spring Break to enjoy a week at this unit, and experience Ixtapa for the first time. The owner was extremely helpful in recommending restaurants, attractions, etc and guiding us through everything from exchanging money to airport transportation. The BVG Residencial is truly the best place to stay in Ixtapa. The staff are very friendly and helpful, my mother said she had the best massage of her life in the spa downstairs, my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the pool, drinks and lunch were always ready to go poolside. In short, we intend to return frequently. This unit is huge. We found ample room for 6 people to spread out and be comfortable for a weeks' stay. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy it!

Amazing Stay at BVG

My husband and I stayed at the BVG for a week and loved every minute of it. The staff were very helpful, the bar food was good, the views were amazing, the pools and deck were relaxing and the condo was clean, beautiful and spacious. We spent the mornings sleeping in and then ventured across the street to eat or into Zijuantinejo for the day. We had the best food and wine we've ever had while staying Ixtapa. The people of Ixtapa were some of the friendliest and nicest people we've met while traveling. I would recommend this condo for anyone who wants some peace and quiet and families with children. The pools and facility were very child friendly and the condo was big enough for everyone to spread out.

We stayed in the Bay View...

We stayed in the Bay View Grand from February 23rd to March 8th, 2008. This was our first visit to Ixtapa but it won’t be our last. Bay View Grand is by far the best accommodation on the beach. The grounds and pool area were gorgeous. We had many beautiful sunset views from our balcony. This condo is very well equipped, in particular, the kitchen and there were plenty of towels and sheets. We viewed other 3 bedroom condos in this complex and this was by far the best layout for a group of people. The owner was accessible during our stay by e-mail for questions or problems. There is free computer access on the lower level in the business centre for e-mail purposes. There is an abundance of excellent restaurants within a short walk of this complex. Bus and taxi service is outstanding.

I thoroughly enjoyed my s...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Ixtapa and the Bay View Grand condos (Unit S-501). The condos are right on the beach, have a beautiful pool area and grounds, and are in walking distance to local shops and restaurants. The condo was nicely decorated, very spacious, had a bathroom for each bedroom, a full kitchen, and a large balcony with hot tub and a beautiful view of the ocean and pool area. It was very relaxing to sit out there, and the weather was great. My room even had a smaller private balcony of its own. The other condo owners and guests were very friendly. I would highly recommend staying there for a relaxing and enjoyable time.
