Very rustic, cozy, clean and comfortable. Nestled in a quiet wooded location, yet, a short drive into town. This was the perfect place to stay for our Alaska adventure!
We loved staying at The Eagle's Nest. We immediately felt welcome. It is a great Alaska get away and felt like home. Leslie is a great host and was so easy to work with. Highly recommend.
Home away from home.. Leslie, host was very accommodating and available. Spent the best Christmas vacation w family that hasn't been together in way too many years. Wasilla got record amount of snow, driveway was cleared and ready for our arrival.
Eagles nest is the way to go!

Great, comfortable location for Wasilla stay
This property was perfect for our needs and very fairly priced. We required somewhere that was close to a home we were cleaning out for a family member who passed away. The kitchen is well stocked (could use a colander for washing veggies and fruit) and has a K-Cup coffee maker with pods provided - we appreciated that. We only used the upstairs; there were just two of us but the downstairs seemed clean and comfy; although a little chilly. The bed is comfortable, but it is on a slightly squeaky metal spring frame that makes noise when you roll over. Fortunately, we were so exhausted each night it didn't matter much. The neighborhood was quiet, and we felt safe, although many of the surrounding neighbors do not seem to have much pride of ownership and there is a lot of garbage in many of the yards. This property is nice and does not have that issue. We do recommend this property if you're staying in Wasilla.

This property is nice and does not have that issue. The only other do-better would be to correct the wi-fi info that the rental management company provides prior to check in. The network did not show up and the password was incorrect, so we had to reach out for that info. Also, the rental company says check out is at noon, but paperwork inside the house says 11 am. We de recommend this property if you're staying in Wasilla.
We loved our stay at the Eagles Nest! It was clean and very welcoming. There was plenty of space for our family of 6. Our kids had a blast playing in the yard too! It’s located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. It beats any cramped hotel experience.
