Un logement très confortable, dans un bel environnement calme

Ce logement est très calme, dans une ruelle peu fréquentée. Il est situé juste à côté du bois de la Cambre et de l'étang de la cabane Robinson, ce qui permet de faire de belles promenades jusqu'en forêt de Soignes sans prendre la voiture. C'est une situation assez incroyable dans une capitale ! Par ailleurs, il n'est pas loin de la chaussée de Waterloo où il y a commerces et restaurants. Le logement est aménagé avec goût. Le propriétaire a été attentif pour que notre séjour se passe bien.

An absolute gem!!

The property was perfect for me in every way. I was working in a local school and wanted somewhere to stay in walking distance and the property was perfectly situated. It is in the Uccle area, which is a very nice residential area on the outskirts of Brussels. However there are plenty of buses and good transport link to the City centre in about 20 minutes. The property was beautifully warm when we arrived on a cold January afternoon and the host had thought of everything including some welcome goodies in the fridge! The kitchen is wonderfully equipped and it is more like being in your own home than a holiday let. The local Carrefour Express is about 5 minutes walk away and has the advantage of being open 7 days per week The apartment is tastefully furnished and has a lovely ambience and after a long day at work it was really comfortable to come back to and to relax. In fact we chose to eat in some nights rather than going out to eat. Having said that, there are some good reasonable bars and restaurants within walking distance. We would strongly recommend it as a stay for a relaxing break and the host went out of his way to see if there was any help we needed. We will definitely be back again next year

Dear Mrs Bundock, Many thanks for this nice review. I am glad you felt like home. We renovated the flat you stayed in to accommodate our sons and family when they come back to Brussels, as they all live abroad. We wanted it to be a real cosy place, this is why we made a full renovation: new wooden floor, new doors and treble glass windows, and installed a brand new kitchen and bathroom. We rent it out occasionally on VRBO homeaway. And we have always ben lucky to host very nice people who like you appreciate the privacy, quiet and green surroundings. Guests who come by car appreciate having ample parking right next to the flat, avoiding any risk of parking ticket, theft and vandalism in the city. It was a pleasure to host you!

L'appartement est situé au calme avec vue sur le jardin. L'aménagement est très bien pensé et les matériaux sont de qualité. Vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés !
