One of the cleanest homes that we have ever rented! Very well stocked, both with linens and in the kitchen. Our extended family of 9 thoroughly enjoyed spending Thanksgiving in the mountains. The house had plenty of room for gathering together or spacing out for a little quiet time. Plenty of games and puzzles to keep everyone occupied.
It is a wonderful, spacious, generously equipped house, including a jacuzzi, a pingpong table and a pool billard. We enjoyed the house. The only problem were the beds that had poor quality.

From the Owner: "We're thrilled that you enjoyed your stay and that the home was enjoyable for you. It's very important to us that guests have a great experience, and we do everything we can to ensure this is the case.
Thank you for your feedback on the beds. Many guests have commented on how comfortable the beds are, so we're disappointed to know that they did not work well for you. The beds are Tuft & Needle brand adaptive foam mattresses, purchased brand new in 2021. We will stay on top of this feedback from other guests and make any changes necessary."
Amazing cabin with cozy home vibes! Very clean and accommodating for our big families. Enjoyed the beautiful scenery, weather and skiing. Would
recommend this cabin to anyone looking to disconnect and spend quality time with loved ones.

great place to stay
The pool is about a mile away and was closed except for one day of our stay! Lots of trails and waterfalls around! We ate at Haps in Glenville, good place for kids and we went to Whitehouse brewery with outdoor area for kids. The house had plenty of room, kids enjoyed the bunkbed rooms! Overall, a great place to stay with plenty of room and plenty to do! Our host was easy to talk with and helpful!
We love the Sapphire area and were anxious to return! This house is located in a perfect spot! Close to Fairfield Lake, the Recreation Center, restaurants, waterfalls and hikes! This property is comfortable, cozy and spacious. We enjoyed quiet evenings out by the fire pit and soaking in the hot tub! It did not disappoint.
The home was beautiful and had plenty of space for all of us! The multiple living areas, including wrap around porch let us hangout and enjoy the perfect weather!
Dan was a great a host and quickly responded to any questions I had. He gave great recommendations for the surrounding area as well! Would definitely go back and highly recommend to other!
The house was beautiful and very well maintained. Our family of 12 had plenty of room and enjoyed all the amenities the home offered. The owners were easy to work with and made sure we had a great experience. Many wonderful family memories were made over this Thanksgiving holiday.
Excellent cabin! Cute!!! Beautiful view of mountain! Warm and fun place!
It was extremely good to have chosen songbird chalet. Family felt at home. Easy access, great. Spaces. Thought about kids and adults.Thank you to our hosts!Close to highlands and also to Helen. Next to the ski resort! Tubing and ice skating! We had a blessed time and great Christmas!!!
We had a great time in Sapphire Valley. We had a group of 9 ranging in age from 5 years old to 85 years old. We go up the weekend before Christmas each year to get our Christmas trees at Bear Valley. The house was a great place to play family games, enjoy the hot tub, and relax. We even had a great surprise on Friday morning - SNOW! What a memorable trip!!
The house had plenty of space for my family. The furniture was modern and comfy and the kitchen had everything you need. Nice, quiet setting in Sapphire. I’d recommend.
Beautiful house that is very well stocked with linens, towels, cooking utensils and spices. Beds were very comfortable. We were 4 adults and 7 kids ages 4-15. House is in a great location close to hiking, Cashiers and Highlands. Would definitely rent again!!
What a great property! Lots of space for family to break off for games downstairs and a quiet puzzle upstairs. Didn’t try the hot tub but it looked great. Older parents were very comfortable in primary suite, while kids were on the main and mom and dad in the basement. Easy to get to Sapphire and Cashiers restaurants and explore the waterfalls. Would highly recommend!

Sapphire Stay
This was a very cozy home. We booked for my wife’s 30th birthday and she absolutely loved the house and location. This home is close to everything and very easy to get to. The home even entertained our 3 year old. There were plenty of toys and the size of the home kept him quite entertained. We could have easily entertained 2 more families with the size of this place. Two main fireplaces that kept us comfortable. Overall, we were very impressed. It was very clean. I normally have one complaint and it’s water pressure but this place had great water pressure! The beds were exceptionally comfortable as well! You won’t be let down by this place, go ahead and book it!

Beautiful home in the mountains
We enjoyed our stay in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We hiked every day, typically driving 20-60 minutes to get to different hikes. The home is situated on the mountains with a beautiful view, we did not have a 4WD but were not there in the snow, I would imagine you would want 4WD in the winter.
The home was clean with comfortable beds and pillows and many supplies including towels, coffee, hot cocoa, soap and cleaning supplies if needed to name a few. The kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs. There is a beautiful screened in porch which we didn't use much but I can imagine in the summer it would be lovely. The hot tub was a nice bonus. There was plenty of room to spread out both inside and outside. The kids played pool and there were other fun games we used.
When we arrived the main floor toilet was not working properly, the plunger was broken off so to flush we needed to replace the plunger every time. This was ok for the adults but more challenging for the kids. We asked it be fixed but it was not fixed while we were there. I am sure they resolved the problem after we left.
I would recommend staying at this beautiful home, the owners have but so many details into the beauty and comfort for their guests.
