Having traveled extensively and owned and managed five unique properties, I understand what guests truly value in a memorable getaway. I take great pleasure in creating thoughtfully designed spaces with attention to detail and tasteful décor, where friends and families can relax and enjoy time together. Helping guests create lasting memories with loved ones—surrounded by the natural beauty of the Plateau—brings me real joy.

Why they chose this property

At Treehouse at Water’s Edge, days unfold at the pace of the lake. Morning light filters through the trees and glints off still water as mist rises from the surface. From nearly every room and all four decks, guests take in tranquil lake and mountain views, coffee in hand, wrapped in crisp Blue Ridge air.

Time here is spent both together and apart — paddling kayaks or a canoe across the lake, fishing from the floating docks, swimming or diving into cool, clear water, or simply floating and watching clouds drift by. Afternoons invite quiet pleasures: reading from the well-stocked library, playing games, lingering in the sunroom, or relaxing in the hot tub with the sounds of nature all around.

Evenings are especially memorable. A fire crackles by the lake’s edge for s’mores and stargazing, while inside, the home theater, sauna, and fireplace offer cozy ways to unwind. Families and friends gather easily here, with generous living spaces, comfortable seating, and thoughtful details designed for connection and comfort.

Beyond the home, Sapphire Valley and the surrounding Plateau offer endless ways to explore — waterfall hikes, mountain trails, golf, tennis, swimming, skiing or tubing in season, and excellent dining ranging from casual to refined. The nearby village of Cashiers adds boutique shopping and local flavor, all set within a landscape rich with wildlife and natural beauty.

What guests enjoy most is the rare balance: a place that feels both peaceful and playful, secluded yet full of amenities, luxurious without feeling formal. It’s the kind of setting where conversations linger, phones get forgotten, and memories are made almost without trying.
