Alpine Views

Set amongst the gum trees, Alpine Views offers amazing mountain views, tranquil surroundings and the perfect home away from home.
Alpine Views has a spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area with wood heating and a split system heating and cooling to keep you comfortable all year round. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for self catering, with outdoor cooking a definite must do if the weather allows. There is a pizza oven (gas) and barbecue on the back verandah, watch the sunset whilst enjoying homemade pizza and glass of bubbly or two.
Ideal for families, couples and small groups there are three bedrooms in the main house and fourth bedroom in the bungalow just outside. The main bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with a full ensuite. Second bedroom a cosy double bed and single bed and trundle bed in the third bedroom. The modern bathroom has a separate bath and shower.
The fourth bedroom located just off the front porch area has a double bed, electric heating and a ceiling fan (no bathroom). Offers a quiet space away from the main house.
Alpine Views is a short drive or a nice walk along the Rail Trail to Warburton township where you will be able to sample the local cafes and restaurants, do a little retail therapy at the gift stores and stroll along the Yarra River feeding the ducks or even take your kayaks out for a paddle. The Warburton Rail Trail is a popular bike riding trail. Warburton Water Park, Redwoods Forest, La La Falls and Mt Donna Buang are a must see not too far of a drive from the home.
Looking to explore further a field, Healesville Sanctuary is around 30 minutes alway along with many wineries and gardens in the Yarra Valley region.

Comfy Short Stay

Very comfortable stay with 4 adults and 3 children aged 7,8 and 9. Nice outlook and a short walk to the pub and river. Would stay again

Beautiful get away for our wedding!

We stayed 2 nights, one with the bridal party and one with family and my now husband. House was lovely and welcoming, hosts were quick with any questions we had. It was a really peaceful stay and the views were to die for

Great secluded location

Excellent location in Warburton, not too far from main town shop by walking although a bit of a hill. House was nice, it could use some additional lamps and lighting, and perhaps a rug or two in the master bedroom. Overall a nice location for a relaxing stay if you don't want to be right in the thick of the town and hearing traffic noise etc. Saw many nice birds and deer in the yard.

Perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay. The beds were really comfortable with heating in the bedrooms and the living area was well set out with the warmth of an open fire. It was a short walk into town and to the local hotel. The walks beside the river and along the Warburton bike trail was absolutely beautiful. A lovely, homely house in a perfect location!

Wintery Warby Weekend

Beautiful location. Loved the fireplace, and the fire pit outside (toasted marshmallows, yum). Plenty of visiting birds on the balcony to feed seed. So much to see and do with kids nearby. Great pub and shops in walking distance. Apart from sharing the house with a couple of huntsmans, a comfortable stay. Note that one of the bedrooms is detached and very basic inside. Will visit again!

Perfect for an Air D&D

We completed our 6 year running Dungeons and Dragons campaign here. It was emotional and hectic. The gorgeous property grounds and smell of wood fire, bath, and space between sleeping areas allowed us to relax substantially when we weren't deciding the fate of a world that now inhabits 7 new Demigods. (I still can't believe they managed to ascend to demigodhood!!!)

Mountain stay

Located very close to Main Street in Warburton. Beds very comfy and we all slept well. Great kitchen amenities. Showers had good pressure and water warmed up quickly. We didn't use wood fire as no fire guard and we had toddler with us. Split system heater very effective in warming home. Would recommend this comfortable home to others.

Lovely house in beautiful warby

Lovely comfortable home, w wood fire, and comfortable beds, in pictureque location.. conveniently located only a short stroll to the village shops & restaurants. Unfortunately no WIFI at property, so we did had a few internet connection issues esp. given the mobile phone reception at the property was patchy, and TV was limited to free-to-air only.

Warburton Family Holiday

The home was clean and beds comfortable. The property manager was very helpful when we rang with an issue with the TV. It was resolved quickly. We all loved the birds feeding on the balcony! The parking situation was tricky with 3 cars so we parked in the street around the corner. We also had 6 or 7 LARGE spiders visit so maybe a pest control treatment would be good! We missed having WiFi but coped 😙 In all a great visit to Alpine Street.

Comfortable and Relaxing Surrounded by Nature

We rented this property to stay in when we attended my Sons wedding at a nearby winery. The house was very comfortable. Loved sitting out on the balcony interacting with the bird life. Lots of parrots and kookaburras to entertain us. Even saw some wild deer. Beautiful sunny spot to sit and read in the main bedroom as well. Two things we would have liked but not absolutely necessary. 1. Full length mirror …as we were attending a wedding and would have liked to check out how good we looked before we left. 2. Wifi would have been good as my daughter needed to do some work on her laptop. Beds were very comfy and water pressure in shower excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay Thank you.

A Very peaceful place to stay with our family

We had a great stay! I would like make mention of a dangerous set of stairs which I think should be fixed , I had a fall which caused me a great deal of pain, I received a laceration to my arm a much bruising. The wood was very slippery on these stairs as it was wet, I was very fortunate that I didn’t break any bones. Please pass this message onto the owner. I wouldn’t want this to happen to anyone else. Cosy retreat

This was a cost, very well kept and presented property that suited our needs very well. The property was very warm, linens and towels were clean, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals and the fireplace was the cherry on top. We hope to be able to stay here again. Cosy Relaxing Getaway

The property was very cosy and had everything you would need. The house was tidy. The backyard is big enough for the kids to run around crazy. We saw a deer in the back and front yard. We saw many different species of birds on the balcony which had a great view of the mountains. The bath was huge and very relaxing. Warburton was great to explore with the Redwood Forest close by, the water park that the kids enjoyed for hours, grabbing some food from the local bakery and having a dip in the river was beautiful. Hoping to return again soon.
