This cottage in Harwich can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

If you are looking for a perfect location, it does not get much better than this. This Waterfront home has 100+ feet of private beach for you to enjoy. You can swim in the clean sandy bottom lake, use the Stand-Up Paddleboards or kayaks to paddle around and explore, skip rocks, or just kick back and enjoy your private slice of heaven.

The home is also located on your own private beach and next to Seymour Pond's public beach area. If you walk across the property's fenced & tree-lined border, you will have several hundred additional feet of sandy beach area to enjoy (but there’s plenty of sandy beachfront right at the cottage)

The Cape Cod rail trail is right behind the front fence. There is a gate to take your bikes through. The Pleasant Lake general store is a mile ride down the trail for delicious sandwiches, burritos, wraps and ice cream! We include 6 bikes!

Beautifully decorated lakefront home. From entry into the fully renovated kitchen you’ll find a dining area with seating 6 or 8.

The kitchen has all the cooking and dining utensils you will need. KitchenAid appliances with navy blue gas stove. Marble counters on the large island.

New master bathroom with extra large walk-in shower! New hall bathroom with a shower/tub combination.

The living room has twinkling lakefront views and 65" Frame TV.
Lots of comfy furniture and a wood-burning fireplace (Bring your own wood & starters).
There are 2 sets of French doors to the stone patio with dining set and gas grill & high end Restoration Hardware outdoor furniture & extra-large gas firepit.

The house has central AC with controllers in each bedroom and living room.
The primary bedroom has a king-size bed and new master bath and walk-in master closet.
Your small dog (30 pounds or under) is welcome $30/nt.
The Cape Cod Rail borders the home beyond the fence in the front of the house & we provide 4 adult bikes. You will love this scenic bike trail that passes by lakes, cranberry bogs, salt marshes, and much more of Cape Cods natural scenery. There are lots of great stop off spots close by where you can get ice cream, penny candy, dinner, margaritas, etc. You can bike ride, walk, or jog on this protected pedestrian path which extends all the way to Provincetown.

Just a short drive away, are several of Cape Cod's most beautiful ocean and bay side beaches. We are also just a short drive to Harwich port shops, and several great seafood restaurants. This property has so much to offer everyone, with lots of activities just outside the front door. You will love the waterfront location, the spectacular sunsets that occur each day over Seymour Pond, and Barbeques along the lake with your friends and family. This is a perfect spot for your summer vacation.

Perfect cottage with beautiful, tasteful decor. Seems very updated. Comfy beds, pillows and couches. Fully stocked kitchen, coffee, creamer and spices. (You will need to bring condiments). Great central location. Very responsive owner. Would give more stars if that were an option.

Lake House Gem

Everything was great- the home is beautiful and so comfortable with an amazing patio out front and the pond at your feet. Great location! Owner was helpful, responsive to questions and took care of a minor repair immediately.

Amazing and peaceful

Incredible memories made here we definitely want to come back. My partner, mother, and two kids had an incredible time with the water, the trails, the little beach. The style and comfort is amazing and the place is very clean. Couldn’t have been happier thank you so much!

Wonderful vacation

We had a wonderful time at this property. It is very centrally located on the cape, so it never felt like we had to drive for a very long time. The kitchen was well stocked, and the home was very comfortable. We loved the beach right out the back door! The pond water was very warm and great for kayaking. Thanks for a great stay!

Idyllic property

The cottage is a beautiful well-appointed home on Seymour Pond. Loved the kayaks and paddleboards and watching sunsets from amazing back patio. Great kitchen and outdoor grill made cooking for our big family a breeze. The house was everything we could ask for! Highly recommend!

Beautiful cottage!

Stunning cottage steps from the pond, great location, with all the amenities for a fun vacation. Beds were comfortable too! Description and pictures of cottage in the profile is accurate. You will not be disappointed. The cottage is located in what I would consider the middle of Cape Cod. Ideal location for shopping, sightseeing and the bike trail is just a few feet from the cottage. Communication with Aruna was excellent. She was quick to respond to my questions from the moment we booked the cottage and also during our vacation when we had a couple of questions. We all just loved this lovely cottage.

Beautiful location...lots to do!

The house was perfect for our family of five. Plenty of space for everyone and a kitchen with everything we needed. The best part of this place, by far, is the location! We brought bikes and pedaled right out of the driveway onto the bike path. Great little general store in one direction with nice pond views and a quiet ride in the other direction took us for a trip through the woods. Our kids enjoyed fishing and swimming right from the back yard and the kayaks got a lot of use while we were there. What a gem! This was the perfect spot for our very active young boys and us to enjoy a few days away. Driving distance to plenty of ocean beaches and lighthouses, but nothing beat the sunset right from the patio. We can't wait to go back!

Spectacular!

This cottage was so beautifully decorated and so comfortable that the only thing more amazing was the incredible view of the lake! Looking through the big picture window in the living room gave us a front row seat for beautiful sunsets. My husband and I went with another couple and my mother. We all had a wonderful time! We even wrapped up in some blankets and sat around the fire pit on the gorgeous patio. Aruna was a terrific host. She sent us information with fantastic restaurant recommendations. (Don't miss the Ocean House in Dennisport. It was delicious!) I'm hoping to get back in the summer so I can go for a swim :)

Wonderful home in the perfect spot!

We had an amazing stay at Aruna's home. The house itself is very clean and beautifully decorated. We were a family of 6 (4 teenagers!). The house was spacious enough for all and we were very comfortable. Also, the beds were great! I am always worried about the quality of the beds when we rent a home and these were fabulous. Really, everything in the house was perfect and just super easy to live in. The location was beautiful. With Cape Cod beaches being so packed (or super cold water), it was great to have the pond to swim in and play on. We were in the water every day. The teens, flexing their independence, went out and explored most days. My husband and I were very content to just hang out by the pond. We never felt the need to leave except to go check out some baseball games. There is a public beach next to the house so you are "sharing" with others but everyone is just out to enjoy themselves and, again, it's much more private than the beaches. Communication with Aruna was easy and she responded quickly to any questions (as in, can we use the extra beach towels??). You can tell she loves her home and wants others to enjoy it as well. We certainly did!

Idyllic, chic cottage

We have been renting on the Cape for years and Lakeside cottage was by far our favorite. The location was not only gorgeous, right on the pond with breathtaking sunsets, but so convenient with the bike path right out front. The landscaping, flowering window boxes, comfortable and chic decorations, bikes and watercraft we didn’t have to lug down made it really feel like a high end vacation. The touches that stood out were new soaps, shower liner and foot towels, matching towel sets, incredibly comfortable bedding, and pottery barn decor. The kitchen and 2nd bath update will make it even more elegant, but overall, 5 star attention to detail, communication, cleanliness and location can’t be beat. Lakeside is exactly what we’ve been looking for and can’t wait to return. Thank you Aruna!

What an Amazing Find

What a fabulous home. Everything you need and even things you did not think you needed (I.e. Alexa) is here. The lake with dock and two kayaks make exploring so easy. Honestly, we preferred the pond to the beach but the beach is very close. The house is super clean and has all the kitchen supplies you may think of. There’s even a Welcoming free bottle of wine! Aruna is super responsive- we had a small concern about the outdoor fireplace and they were there to address first thing on the AM we have rented many homes on the Cape, but going forward will only rent from Arina

Great vacation

The property exceeded our expectations. The location on Seymour Pond is fantastic; close to great beaches in Brewster and Harwich. Bike path is a fun option, but enjoying time in the lake swimming, SUP, or kayaking was amazing. Great place!

Perfect Vacation Get Away

Lakeshore Cottage was the perfect vacation for our family. We have been coming to the Cape for years and love staying near one of the ponds there to give us something to do since we like to just relax with our extended family. The house is decorated beautifully and met all our needs Having the use of the kayaks, paddle boards and canoe was the icing on the cake for us. The outside fire pit and patio overlooking Seymour Pond and the beautiful sunsets made great memories for our family. Thank you Aruna and Joe for your hospitality! We will be back!

Lovely house, right on the water, incredible sunsets!

We decided that the Lakefront Cottage would be perfect for us - I contacted Aruna and Joe, the homeowners, through HomeAway and what I recall was less than 30 minutes, I heard back from them. All correspondence moving forward met with very quick replies, which is so appreciated. Paying for the cottage through the HomeAway app was easy and painless, very efficient and straightforward. The cottage was everything and more, than we had hoped for and expected from the photos and descriptions. I think that the owners must have gone into Pottery Barn and Home Goods and essentially purchased everything the stores have! The house is tastefully and beautifully decorated, very nautical, lake-ish - comfortably classy. All things you need are provided, even basic food items like many condiments and even shampoos and lotions! You do have to bring your own sheets and towels unless you pay extra for linen service. There’s a washer and dryer, lots of games and a game room for kids, and the outdoor gas firepit is beautiful. There really are more amenities in the house than I can begin to list - a very big highlight is that the owners have provided 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, a canoe and 4 bikes! The bikes are perfect as the cottage is located immediately on the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Speaking of location, it truly is excellent! On a beach on the shores of Seymour Pond, and yet a short drive away from the ocean beaches. There are many nearby restaurants. And the central Cape location made it very easy for us to explore the entire Cape. We spent a rainy day in Provincetown, Wellfleet and Truro. We had breakfast in Chatham one day, and another day, we enjoyed a spectacular evening on the Lobster Roll Sunset Dinner Cruise out of Sesuit Harbor in Dennis. The owners provide you with a super helpful multi-page listing of suggestions of restaurants in all categories, activities, sites, beaches, etc. Seymour Pond does not allow gas powered motors so it is very quiet. The deck with the gas firepit is the perfect place to enjoy idyllic peaceful sunsets. We highly recommend Lakeshore Cottage!

We enjoyed a lot!

The place had an amazing lake view. The cottage was cute and cozy. Love the fire pit outside the house. Aruna was an amazing host. She was continuously in touch during our stay and she provided us with all the basic amenities. We hope to come back and stay here during summer. It was an amazing experience. Thank you.
