Welcome to our newly renovated cottage with over 3000sq of space on water front. Soaking up the most beautiful sundown over the lake around the fire pit. The property is well-treed which provides great privacy. We have a lovely & spacious great room highlighted by barn-board flooring, wood-burning pizza oven, walkouts to 2 decks & a rec room in the basement with games. Just steps away from all season fishing at our lake. Great getaway only an hour & half away from the city with easy roads. Wifi Available!. Amazing lake for fishing.

Gorgeous property with great potential

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at Ellie's property! We loved the lake, canoe, dock, fire pit, bbq, and upper decks. The house itself is beautiful and fit the 8 of us comfortably. Our host Ellie was very communicative and helped us sort out some issues with our Internet and answered all questions promptly. The only issue with our stay was that the house felt worn/poorly maintained and not as clean or stocked as we'd expected. While the house looked clean, upon further inspection we found stained sheets in the children's bunk beds, broken crisper cabinets/bins in the fridge, dirty carpets/rugs, and there was a musty, warm smell in the basement. There was no extra toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, towels, or shower supplies provided - this would not have been an issue if it had been communicated to us either in the description or by the host beforehand. Overall, we had a lovely time but hope the host puts a bit more care and attention into an otherwise beautiful property.

Great week with some issues.

Beautiful house beautiful outdoor area and lovely calm lake with canoe. No king bed as shown but still slept the right amount of e people. Previous guests presumably smoked in the house so that was unpleasant for a few days and the basement had a very strange musty smell but I don’t believe the downstairs had been cleaned between guests as we found bugs and bottles all around and the boat shed was full of smelly garbage. We didn’t dare use the pizza oven as its basically attached to house. Kitchen appliances great but again could use a few more things like a good bottle opener. Host was usually reaponsive to questions/issues not always. Overall we had a great time but it’s not a perfect stay although very economical compared to other places we looked at the same time.
