We really enjoyed our stay at Chain Valley Bay. The house is in such an idillic location on the lake, and Helen and John were very thoughtful hosts. The house was pristine, really well prepared and full of stuff to keep the kids entertained. The dog was also made to feel welcome (there were dog towels in the laundry, a bed outside, bowls ready to use and a big backyard). Couldn't have asked for more for our short stay - Im sure we'll be back.

Great host. Timely communication. House was fantastic. Had everything we needed, and the backyard backing out to the bay gave this place the wow factor. Kayaking and fishing (although we didn’t catch anything, kids had a blast) within a stones throw from the house. Would stay again!

Such a perfect location backing on to the lake. We all loved using the kayaks.The large deck was great for relaxing on with water views and the egg chair was a comfortable place to sit and read.The beds were good but the double sofa bed is really only suitable for children. Large secure backyard for our dog.

We had a wonderful time. The view and the serenity of the place are amazing. The house is fully equipped with everything you need to have a relaxing holiday. This location is perfect for anyone wanting to enjoy the outdoors with a beautiful view. The house is clean and equipped with everything you need. The hosts are attentive and responsive. It’s our second time here and will definitely be back.

Nice relaxing stay

We had a great stay. The house was in a nice quiet spot. We loved sitting on the back deck looking out over the lake. The boys loved kayaking on the lake for a fish. Highly recommended and very clean.

Relaxing and peaceful

Wonderful location, kids loved the backyard and lake and adults loved the peaceful view and serenity. Our dog loved chasing the ball in the large backyard Wonderful house for family and Helen and John were wonderful hosts.highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway.

Great family getaway

Great place to stay with the family. The children had plenty to keep them entertained thanks to the games and activities provided. House and kitchen was well equipped. The lake at the doorstep lhad to be my favourite feature of this property, such a beautiful view. Very relaxing and quiet location. Thank you Helen and John for a lovely stay.

Great location

Well equipped house in a beautiful location. It suited our group of 'old' friends catching up very well. The location was perfect for our kayaks but the weather wasn't until our second day. Handy to have Woolworths & the Asian restaurant very close by & walking tracks.

Beautiful peaceful location and great stay

The house is located in a quiet street perfect for a getaway. The view from the back part of the house over looks the lake which is beautiful quite and great place to unwind. The place was well equipped with lots of personal touches by the host. The beautiful toiletries in the bathroom, dog towel and bowls, fire pit all set and ready to go and extensive instructions. I would definitely recommend this place.

Very clean, tidy and comfortable family holiday home. The aspect through the back yard to the lake is spectacular. No grocery stores, cafes or restaurants within walking distance.

Amazing experience!

Beautiful location. Only downside was the two single beds and mattresses in the downstairs bedroom need to be replaced. Those were sinking uncomfortable and beds were making sqeaky noise.

Stunning Property and Lovely Property Managers

My family and I booked a weekend away and we couldn’t fault a thing. The house was beautiful and there was so many activities for all different age ranges. The property managers were phenomenal to deal with. We will definitely recommend this property to others and we will be booking again for ourselves in the near future. 10/10.

Amazing house and view!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful house. The waterview is awesome and we spent several hours just watching the world go by on the deck! House is more than adequate equipped with kitchenware, bedlinen, towels, toiletries etc.... Our dog had a wonderful time too in the safe backyard. Hosts are wonderful and easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay here again when holidaying in the Central Coast

House in excellent shape

Kitchen and bathroom all excellent, could not find fault. Kitchen was especially superb, everything was clean and at our disposal. One of our guests was 76 years old and we would have been happier if there was a hand rail from the main floor to the downstairs bathroom
