Nice condo great location

Nice stay. Great location on the beach. I wished we had booked ocean front but missed that when I booked. We had an issue with the AC and the staff took care of it promptly and without hesitation. Overall a nice property but there was no view and so it was not the best but a clean comfortable unit.

Great Property with Lovely Amenities

Enjoyed the property immensely. The location is conveniently located in Kapaa and allows for close shopping. Pool was fabulous highlight of the stay, along with the restaurant and bar. Highly recommended.

Great location and Amenities; furnishings need updating

The location was great, grocery right across the street. On the beach great for sunrise, the Pool and hot tubs were great too. Apartment was clean and had everything you need to enjoy your stay. Our only complaint was about the furnishings: the bed and pillows really need to be replaced. A king size bed was nice, but it was not a good sleep. We're normal sized people in our 30s/40s and don't normally have back problems upon waking up. The sofa and bar stools have been sat out of cushion. The foam has collapsed. Everything still looks ok but is long in the tooth.

Not overly impressed. parking is terrible. Only two handicap spots and if not available walking, for old, handicap, people very difficult. Last day we got to watch workers outside our living room window working. Not a good impression. Would not stay at this property again nor would I use your service.

Bliss!

We enjoyed everything about this beautiful property! The suite is very large, with plenty of privacy, even though it is ‘walk-out’. The kitchen is well laid out and supplied with everything we needed. We liked having a separate shower room, and did not have to wait for hot water. The pool and hot pools are simply perfect and the towel service is wonderful! We only spent one day at the ocean, but it was nice to have a beach umbrella provided for our use. Having Safeway and Starbucks across the street is a bonus! It was a breeze to pick up a Safeway card (needed to get the deals), and with Long’s Drugstore just 1 block away we were able to find everything we needed. We ate at Monico’s, which is a Mexican restaurant across the street, and the food is excellent as is the service. This was such a lovely place to call ‘home’ for 10 days! We’ll be back!

Paradise in Kapa’a

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Peter’s paradise for our 1 year anniversary trip. We had just come from Waikiki and the private beach getaway was much welcome! Everything about the property was as described and in perfect condition. The only question we had was about the AC directions and Peter was very quick to respond. Somebody had also taken the little table from the lanai and Peter tried to source us a new one but it never even mattered because we went out to the beach every morning and used the property lounge chairs to drink our coffee and watch the sunrise and set! The property is in the perfect location, walking distance to everything you need and with the Oasis on property and Safeway across the street you never really need to leave! The staff at Oasis couldn’t have been nicer and there was live music one njght. The lounge chairs along the beach were heaven and the pool was as nice as they come and not overwhelmed with kids. Highly recommend this stay!

They let us know ahead of our stay that the dishwasher was out of order-we appreciated that. Everything was clean,there was plenty of space for us and the location was everything. It took us 30 seconds to walk around the beautiful planters to the pool. The pool staff was always friendly and the water slides kept my 5 & 7 year olds busy for hours. Step right outside of the sliding door, look to your right and the beach is another 30 second walk! We loved the central location. It was so helpful to have a washer and dryer, sand toys for the kids, beach chairs, an ice chest, and fresh Tupperware for packing lunch for the day. The fitness center was perfect for my husband and I to take turns using. We also enjoyed having the large lounge chairs out on the beach. We would 100% book this exact condo again. Thank you for an awesome experience!

Reviewer Comments: This was our second time staying at the Waipouli Resort and again in a privately owned condo and it was just as perfect as our first stay. We love this resort's layout of pools, beach access, and condos. Also, this is a great side of the island to stay on as it's easily accessible to everywhere. The condo had great amenities and was very clean and updated. Perfect for dining in every night or just needing a kitchen here and there. The location of the condo was great as we could easily access the pool, beach or our car for leaving for the day. The resort has a great workout area and lovely well maintained grounds. This trip it was just my husband and myself, but we could have brought our two kiddos and it would have been plenty comfortable and spacious. This place is a must-stay! For all the amenities in comparison to the price it is more than worth it! We'll be coming back to this rental for sure. We did come in the “winter” months so it was a little rainier, but still so enjoyable and worth every moment!

Great location

The condo is in a great location and the resort itself is great. For the price, you can't beat it. The bathroom and kitchen were huge and the unit was very clean. It was nice being on the ground floor and it was an easy walk to the parking lot. People always seemed to be waiting for the elevator so it was nice to be able to walk right in to the unit. However, we did have a few issues. As a previous reviewer stated, the shower door leaks, a lot. Plus the portion of the bathroom where the shower is is really dark. Good luck shaving your legs because you can't see anything. The living room and bedroom are also pretty dark. The view pictured in the listing is not accurate. When you look out the bedroom or living room windows you are looking at the pool and at a hallway. So if it's dark outside and you have the lights on inside, everyone walking down the walkway can see right in. If you're on the lanai and turn to your right, look past some bushes and the walkway, then you can see that view. If you happen to need to work while staying here, go to Starbucks across the street because the wifi is REALLY slow. Also, getting the parking permit was a hassle because the HOA office was closed and no one from security responded to our phone calls. While the unit was nice, I don't think we would stay in this unit again. We would try to find a different unit at the resort.

Clean, Comfy and Convenient, but Watch Out for the Bed Leg!

The resort has a great pool area, loads of lounge chairs, beautiful landscaping, and a clean well-equipped fitness center. The beach out front is picturesque (though unswimmable) and bordered by a long walking/biking path.The condo was nice, and we really appreciated the washer/dryerbut the WiFi was terrible and the TV couldn't get enough of a DirecTV(?) or WiFi signal most evenings, so we did without TV. The master bedroom bed is super comfy, but is unfortunately placed so that when you enter the bedroom from the family room you almost automatically stub your toe on the closest heavy bed leg. I broke my toe on the first night, and wrapped towels and pillows around the bed leg to prevent further injury during the remainder of our stay.

Wow! Fantastic Property with everything

Huge 1 bedroom condo, 2 baths, top of the line appliances, beautiful grounds, amazing pool, multiple hot tibs, great fitness center, right on the beach, and the Oasis restaurant is a 5 star place to eat as well. Will stay again on next trip to Kauai!

Everything my family of 3 could need- from beach gear to washer/dryer to everything in the kitchen needed for my kiddos to make me breakfast in bed! Resort was awesome too- with pool and hot tub. Convenient parking. Location was great for restaurants, grocery, and for being right in the middle for driving between North shore and South shore beach locations. Thank you for an incredible stay!
