Excellent stay. We stayed with our kids and extra family. Great place, great amenities. Will return!
We stayed for a few days at this property, and we were very pleased nonetheless! The home was beautiful and extremely clean, the beds were comfy, and the floors were warm. Not to mention the views, they were immaculate! Check in, and communication were great. Definitely recommend this property.
Property was excellent and the community is great. Plenty of room to spread out in the house. We stayed with our kids and extra family. Beds are great, dining table sits 8-10 easy. Kids room is awesome with the big bunk beds. Location is great and very close to a big sledding hill. Community has hot tubs and game room. Will return in the future.
My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay here. The house was beautiful, clean, and baby-friendly; the location was great (quiet, convenient access to town and the highway); and the hosts were very hospitable and communicative. The clubhouse also had great amenities and activities. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Colorado—especially at night since it’s in a dark sky zone!
Definitely a hidden gem. We would love to return!
Relax in style in this very clean, very well cared for property! Off the beaten path yet close to everything - our family had a great time pretending the place was ours! Loved it in Winter and look forward to checking it out this Summer! 😁
We had the best time! Courtney was amazing to work with, detailed and prepared, and very helpful. The location was perfect and the house itself was beautiful and perfect for our families. We had 4 adults and 4 kids (3 and under) and it was a great space for us. Plenty of room and lots of helpful things for the kids. We enjoyed everything about this home and would stay here again in the future!
We traveled with our adult daughters and their families. It was perfect for the 8 of us! Our grandkids 2 & 4 loved the bunkbeds! And it was nice to have a beautiful spot to cook hang out, and play games. We didnt end up using the aspen house and boat house as much as we thought we would because we were exploring a lot of fun activities in Summit County. We would highly recommend this vrbo. The owners kept in good communication.

June Summer Reunion
The Summit Sky Ranch location was beautiful for our reunion as one of the family members owns a home in the development. Our other two family groups each had a rental home. Funny thing is all three homes were the same model! It was interesting to see the similarities and differences between them. The rental allowed access to The Aspen House with pool, spa, game room (including a big doll house - a favorite for the little girls), exercise room and the wonderful lounge area with beer, wine and other drinks and snacks for additional fees. We enjoyed spending time there with the family relaxing. The Lake House also claimed some of our time. We made use of the paddle boards, kayaks, hot tubs and beach. In the evening, we enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit. The hiking trails were excellent as well. We really didn’t have to leave the community to enjoy ourselves!Dining options in Siverthorne were fantastic! We enjoyed Sauce on the Blue and The Bluebird where families had a variety of food options. We were invited to join in the weekly Cornhole tournament-so fun! The Mint steakhouse was everybody’s favorite place and we visited a few breweries to round out the week! Our rental had beautiful finishes in the kitchen and bathrooms and the floor plan is outstanding. Not a fan of the decor but it will appeal to those who enjoy a laidback style. A lot of area rugs in which our older family members had to be aware of as not to trip. That being said, it is a rental property that must have a lot of traffic - many items had wear and were in need of replacement; however, when made aware, the hosts offered to do an Amazon prime delivery for any items that we needed which was very kind. We didn’t take them up on the offer as we were eating out almost every meal. In addition, we found the beds to be very very firm and not comfortable. One person slept on the couch for a bit more cushioning. This is the main reason for the lower review. Our group wondered if the owners have ever slept at the location for a few days to experience it.The hosts were very attentive and thoughtful. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine. The rental binder contained most important details with maps, ideas for dining and activities in the area. Hosts also kept in contact via text and were very prompt responding. We would definitely recommend Summit Sky Ranch for your Colorado vacation base.

Response from VrboOwner on 13 Aug, 2025
From the Owner: "Thanks, Linda, we truly appreciate your thoughtful review. I was surprised to hear your feedback about the sleeping arrangements and mattress firmness, as we often receive compliments from guests and friends on our bedding and overall sleeping setup. I only wish we had known about this during your stay, so we could have addressed it right away. Providing prompt attention to our guests is a top priority for my wife and me, as reflected in our offer to purchase needed items for guest pickup at the Target just down the road.
Regarding your last comment, we frequently stay at the property ourselves for weeks or months at a time, hosting our own large gatherings with family and friends. It’s truly our home away from home, and we care deeply about the quality, comfort, and cleanliness of the space.
We hope to have the opportunity to host you and your group again. Thanks again for your review!"
Such a fab time in Silverthorne! We checked out the community center offerings, but did more hiking and sightseeing than resting. The house was in a perfect location for our family to connect for a few days! Close to town, but far enough off the beaten path for rest and relaxation. You must take the trail right out the back door! Just decide how far you'd like to hike, and you can go for a few or many miles! Kitchen had everything, lots of linens, great mud room, bedrooms were very nice, plenty of bathrooms, deck was great too! Would love to come out during ski season! I am a picky (around the country) vrbo renter - and I give this an A+++ rating! Thanks again to the friendly host and hostess! Regards, Jill, Blaine and family.
Beautiful home that easily accommodated our group of 6. Good appointments & kitchen was well stocked. Owners were very responsive. The access to the pool & hot tubs was also nice!
The house was very nice and modern! The views were amazing!!!! Great amenities and love the aspen house! Overall a wonderful trip!

Outstanding experience
From start to finish, our stay was outstanding. Being in a dark sky reserve on a clear night and seeing the stars was amazing. The kitchen was roomy supported our two families while we cooked all week. More than enough beds to sleep everyone and plenty of space to hang out together or to take a moment for peace and quiet. We loved the outdoor fireplace and trails around the community. The included access to the Aspen House clubhouse was a nice treat, they made us feel welcome and the kids loved the pool. Silverthorne is just a short drive away and there’s a ton to do in town. We would absolutely stay here again, thanks so much for having us!
We’ve been skiing in Colorado for nearly 20 years and have not come across a property anywhere near as nice as this one. Very pleased with the home, very clean and all the amenities we needed. We even managed to have a moose walk right across the back yard on our first day. It’s slightly out of town, but that was no issue for us as we were skiing different mountains each day of our stay. All in all this was a 5 star property and the owners were reachable for any questions during the stay. Would highly recommend.
