Fishing Trip 2022

The stay here wasn’t bad, it’s a little crowded but served it’s purpose. I think I would stay here again

Perfect for our fishing trip

This is a simple cabin with a wonderful history. There is a plastic binder in the cabin that will tell you the story of Jane and Zyg's Little Ponderosa. It's a no-frills cabin, so don't expect a fancy, modern stay. But it is simple and cozy, with all the necessities. It comes stocked with dishes, towels, blankets, soap... and if there's something missing, the Dublin store is just a four minute drive away. The beds are comfortable, there are dvds and board games, a swing and campfire ring outside, and plenty of places to explore, all within a 20 to 30 minute drive or less. We loved it!

Disappointed

There should be an inspection of the whole house, interior smelled moldy & wasn't cleaned properly, was not as promoted.

Jose, we’re sorry your stay fell short of expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: "Jose, I am truly sorry you were disappointed with my cabin. I responded back to you as quickly as possible and I was immediately en route to assist with whatever was in my power to accommodate you and your family. Several phone calls and text from me went unanswered. -The concerns you had were not discovered by me. -There are absolutely no mold issues within this cabin. - We did have rain, so it does get damp up there with all the shade. I plugged in the dehumidifier which took care of that "issue" rather rapidly. -This is a rustic cabin and it is exactly what we advertise it as. I appreciate all feedback. Both positive and negative feedback will assist with all future bookings being improved. You can call me anytime to discuss specifically what you feel can be done to improve a guests stay. I try to be open-minded and take pride in hosting and supplying a cabin to truly unplug and escape. This is a remote location where people can go to hunt, fish, hike, canoe, ORV, bonfire.... Again, I am sorry we did not work together to resolve your concerns!"
