Just visited with my family. 8 of us. Plenty of room. Pool was fantastic and apart from the hill to walk up the restaurants in area are amazing. Great vibe all around. Will go back!

We had a pleasant stay in Esterillos. The house was more than we needed, but the location and the view is why we chose this property. The neighborhood has plenty of dining options and a couple of mini marts so no need to travel much.

These include the well-known and excellent Los Almendros, one of my favorite local sodas for lunch, Margarita Soda, and the popular El Patio, famous for its wood-fired pizza and lively atmosphere!

Perfect Costa Rican beach stay

We stayed at Casa Flex for a week. House is beautiful, fully equipped and in a perfect location! Check in and out was easy and Mirla from property management helped us organize some excursions as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family enjoyed every minute of being at Casa Flex. It is perfect for a larger group and the pool did not disappoint! Clean, safe, great property, and a view of the ocean from the upper deck/tiki lounge. Enjoyed my coffee every morning. Location was convenient and located only a few minutes from the beach (albeit some trekking up and down a hill). The beach was quiet and the town is not touristy - great surfing spot! For those looking to see monkey's, if you go down the street and up the hill to the red gate at 4-5pm, they will be there and give you a show. Julien was an excellent host with great communication. Will definitely visit Casa Flex again in the coming years.

Wow, thank you for sharing the photos and your kind comments! You’re right — there are three or four groups of white-faced monkeys and squirrel monkeys in the jungle up the hill. The 4–5 p.m. timeframe is indeed a great time to spot them. With a bit of luck, you might also see sloths, but they’re very quiet and discreet!

Absolutely perfect destination house and pool

The house was immaculate, well stocked and spacious! The pool was a perfect break from the ocean and the neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Could not recommend more, this is the best short term rental I have ever had!

Great stay! Air is in all bedrooms - would be nice to have another unit in main area. Walking distance from beach, which is beautiful. Also walking distance from a couple local sodas and a market. Pools is great too! And there is a terrace above the guest house that gives a nice view of the ocean. Would stay again!

We loved everything about CasaFlex. The location and short walk to the beach were just as described, and the local residents were incredibly friendly and helpful. The owners/management were quick to respond to any questions or assistance needed while there as well. Our trip to Eaterillios Oeste

This was an awesome location and perfect lay out for 6 adults and one teen. Easy access to the beach, stores, sodas, and surf board rentals. Reasonable drive to Mangrove monkey boat, Manuel Antonio Park, Jacó and Resteraunt on the beach in Playa de Bejuca. I highly recommend this rental

Thank you April for your stay. the Mangrove Monkey Boat tour is a nice quick tour with kids. They are usually able to see closely white face monkeys and the drive is about 35 minutes only.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Flex especially the pool and were surprised to see monkeys in the trees and macaws flying overhead! The A/C’s worked great and the main house suited our needs.Unfortunately, we couldn’t use the apartment because of water intrusion but the owners worked with us on a solution. It was our first family vacation in Costa Rica and we plan to come back! Communication with the property manager and owner was easy and efficient. The town is lovely and the beach was pleasant with tide pools to swim and snorkel.

Great Value and Awesome Beach, The 2nd studio is a Great add on.

Pool was amazing, we spent most of our time there, the partial Air conditioning is important to know, 3 bedrooms have ac, living room does not, guest house is studio and has full A/C.They have a few camp chairs, sand Toys, water toys, yoga mats, very well equiped.Quiet as well, the beach is very large, and not very busy.

Tropical Oasis in Costa Rica

My graduate school cohort loved our stay at Julien’s Oasis in Esterillos. The property is beautiful and as described! The owner kindly allowed us to have an early check in and late check out. House is situated within a short walking distance from the beach and driving distance from Jaco and Quepo. We would definitely stay here again!!
