Welcome to our stunning 4-bedroom walkout property, nestled on 5 acres of serene land adjacent to the Beach House (VRBO #507807). This spacious home is perfect for large families, two separate families, or a family with parents, offering both togetherness and privacy.

Property Highlights:
• Two Levels: The property features two self-contained units, each with its own kitchen, living room, bathroom, washer/dryer, BBQ, patio, and fire pit. The Upper Level and Ground Level are connected by stairs or accessible via separate entries.
• Bedrooms: The upper-level bedrooms include a king and single bed in BR#1, and a queen and single bed in BR#2. The lower-level bedrooms each have a queen and single bed.

Amenities:
• Both levels are equipped with full bathrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, living rooms, appliances (including dishwashers), and Smart TVs with Netflix, Prime, and other apps. Each level offers approximately 1000 square feet of living space.

Outdoor Spaces:
• The upper level boasts a wrap-around deck with 500 square feet of deck space, including a 160 square feet screened-in room perfect for enjoying the sun until sunset. The ground level offers beautiful views and a seating area under the upper-level deck.

It was the perfect weekend get away for a group of 5. Super clean, lots of space, a beautiful view and just a quick walk to the beach. The screened in porch was amazing! Very responsive host. i would highly recommend :)

Great spot to discover Cape Breton

The house is well located in Cape Breton for day trips to do the Cabot Trail and go discover Baddeck, Louisbourg, Sydney and many other nice areas. We were 7, using both floors, and the setup was perfect.

One of the best places we’ve stayed at!

Beautiful location and perfect amount of room for our two families of four. Owner was very pleasant and super helpful with any questions we had. We would 1000% stay here again! The two practically private beaches were close and beautiful. We saw some amazing wildlife including eagles and jellyfish! The sea glass has made such a great souvenir :)

Lobster House Family Reunion

Our family planned a reunion in Cape Breton (one of our kids live there). The Lobster House was the perfect venue with lots of space for everyone to hang out and roam around. Our host Kevin was amazing! It was our first time renting through Vrbo and it was a great experience.

This house is the perfect location to use as a base to travel throughout Cape Breton. It is well equipped, comfortable and has unbeatable views! Bras’dor experience

Wonderful home that is a great location to explore Cape Breton. Some local food venues in Iona. Close to Baddeck. Great views. Cabot trail, and Louis burg easy day trips. As for the views and the house location, absolutely stunning, as if you were seeing Alexander Graham Bells Views of the lake! The house was easy, clean, and setup in a smart layout.

We really enjoyed ourselves and the location. Kids especially appreciated the easy beach access and went down every day. Adults loved the beaches too and those lake views! Host is very responsive and easy to work with. House is well-appointed and has plenty of towels, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap, and filtered water. The drinking water setup might be difficult if you’re mobility challenged (have to lift 5 gallon jugs to the counter and use a pump). Overall a lovely location and wonderful time!

Motorcycle trip to Nova Scotia

Great stay!

We rented both top and bottom places. Lots of room for our family. Kevin was attentive to any issues we encountered. Kitchen had everything we needed- knives could use a sharpening, laundry was a bonus, location is beautiful. Alot of driving throughout Cape Breton if you plan to explore the sights, however the cottage is very comfortable for relaxing and staying put. The view of Bras dor lake is exceptional!

Cute house on quiet stretch of Lake Bras d’Or

Clean, well-appointed house which worked well for 6 adults celebrating a college reunion. The location is a bit remote (an hour from Baddeck and 1 3/4 hours from Cheticamp) but worth it. the sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous. Owner very responsive and aided with some simple problems immediately. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Great sleeping porch was bonus.

Beautiful views

Despite not having ideal weather (hurricane Lee), we had a fantastic stay at the Lobster House. We had the entire property which worked well for my family. The upper-level screened porch was our favorite with panoramic views. The place was clean, Kevin was easy to communicate with, and did I mention the views? Looking east we saw the sunrise and looking west, the sunset over the Bras d'Or Lake. With family in the area, we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Great location for a large group, with lovely view

This is a very comfortable home with many sleeping options suitable for a large group. It was super clean, well-organized kitchen and bathrooms, beds are large and comfortable, the deck has a lovely view and large lawn looking over Bras d'Or Lake. Lake access is a challenge and it was super buggy when we were there so we swam only once. There are many restaurants, beaches, hikes and cultural amenities that we enjoyed, but everything required a drive a drive of 1-1.5 hours. Our host Kevin was very attentive and quick with communication. Overall it was a great visit and we will stay here again if we're in the region. Thanks!

Golf GetAway

Seven us stayed in the Upper and Lower cottage for 7 nights. We were within an hours drive to golf which included Cabot Cliffs and The Nest, Bell Bay, Dundee and the The Lakes of Ben Eion. One group toured the spectacular Cabot Trail. The cottage had more than ample space for the seven of us with all the amenities of home. The view of the lake was spectacular and a short walk to the beach provided some added enjoyment following golf. The host Kevin provided very detailed directions and information. Our stay at Lobster House was truly enjoyable..
