Mooney Manor - Beach Bach

This stunning family holiday house will not disappoint! Absolutely amazing beach views.

With a gorgeous open plan kitchen that looks out to the beach, dining and lounge and spacious decks at both the front and back of the house, catching the morning and afternoon sun.
Eat your breakfast on the lovely outdoor deck overlooking the ocean, while cooking some bacon and eggs on the BBQ and drinking a nice hot coffee from the coffee pod machine. Big sun umbrella and stand for the deck!
This house would suit a family with children wanting a break away or two small families wanting to get away from it all. With four generous sized bedrooms sleeping 8 and an extra lounge for the teenagers wanting some space away.

Wifi available and a chromecast to watch movies if you happen to strike a rainy day.
With the beach so nice and close its just a short stroll to the beach. The beach is really safe for swimming. You can come on back to the bach and rinse your feet on the foot shower.

Pukehina hosts a local shop for last-minute items, and they also have great takeaways.
Local activities comprise a tennis club, golf, surf club with red flags for swimming, boating and fishing clubs.
You will be met by our knowledgeable local agent.
Check in time is 3pm and checkout time is 10am (unless by prior arrangement)
Please bring your own Linen, sheets, pillowcases, duvets, towels, bath mats, flannels & tea towels.
Linen can be provided at a charge of $25 per person (please give us plenty of notice if you require this service).

Wedding break away

Absolutely perfect location and house for a group of 8. Beautiful view, clean and tidy, lots of space for a family with teenagers.

Pukehina Family Get Together

Ideally situated property with uninterrupted sea and farm views. About fifty metres from the beach (cross the road, walk through the reserve and down the beach path). East, north and west facing deck enabled sitting in the sun throughout the day. For five adults plenty of room and two WC’s and showers meant no problems. We were extremely lucky with four days of blue sky sunshine days. Happy to visit Pukehina again.

Snafu on getting into the property

Friends (details and photoID provided to managers) arrived prior to me on a very wet Friday evening after a very long drive only to find the key was not left as had been indicated. Approx an hour long wait to reach the property managers to notify that there was no access to the property. Although resolved quickly once contact was made it was stressful for us all to decide alternative accommodation for the night/turn around and go home facing a long trip back the next day. The property was lovely, although there is a knack to locking the front door that challenged us.

Best of both worlds Beach at front and field landscapes in the backyard

This property is a big bonus for families with kids as there is a playground with flying fox right across the house and just after that is the beach. Parents can enjoy the bar and deck with beach loungers while enjoying the beach right across and watching over the kids playing in the playground right across, what more can you ask for? House has beautiful views of beach and fields, This Beach is famous for tuatua and Pipi, collecting them will be a fun activity for kids. There is an estuary nearby which is famous for cockles and has shallow waters so easy to swim for children. We just stayed back and enjoyed most of the the house, beach and playground. There was no need to need to travel anywhere else, just relax and unwind. We liked it so much that we rebooked the same place for next year.
