Truly a great, quiet space just minutes from all the fun things that Hood provides. Definitely hit the wine bar in Mt Hood Village. And, Timberline is just up the road. The cabin is cozy and well-attended. Had some deer hang with us while in the hot tub. And the stars were popping. We'll be back.

Ideal cabin in the woods

This was a great cabin in the woods. The whole family was able to relax during the stay and the house had everything we needed. We really enjoyed being so close to the Salmon River and all the amenities Welches and ZigZag & Govy has to offer.

Great location. A lot of places to eat nearby but we brought a lot of food to cook so we could stay in. WiFi works great. Hot tub was nice. Photos were pretty accurate. No surprises which was great. The only thing I wish could be different was the kitchen knives were no good to work with. Every one of them was serrated and blunt. The cookware was falling apart. Remember to bring your own spices and grease to cook in.

Mountain paradise

We loved our stay. Beautiful forest setting. Quiet and peaceful. Loved the deer family that visited and the fairy lights at night with hit tub were just magical! Wish we had it for longer

Great place!

The house is very nice. Has that 'cabiny' feeling great for the mountains. Nicely appointed and great kitchen. Comfy beds and nice bathrooms. Only downside was the dvd player is glitchy. Very happy with our stay and we loved the Salmon River Cabin!

Great cabin in the woods!

As you pull up to the cabin it's a pleasant surprise. It's very nice and on enough property to feel alone. Parking is good for a few vehicles. Close enough to town to run down and grab pizza. Hot tub is in a great location. The cabin is very nice. We would stay again.

A nice getaway to a great area!

A wonderful property near Mt Hood and all that is in the area. The cabin was very clean and well kept and was relatively easy to find and get settled into. Only suggestion would be for a few more amenities as we had to scrounge around for some coffee and fundamental seasonings for cooking, etc. But overall it was a great stay. The laundry was incredibly convenient and overall the cabin was very well set up. Would love to come back in the winter and enjoy the beauty of the area then!

Doesn’t get better than this!

What an incredible place. So clean, and spacious! You are surrounded only by woods. It’s quiet and peaceful. They have thought of everything-hot tub, outdoor fire pit with wood, beautiful fireplace, large dining table, etc. Kitchen was well stocked. We travel all of the time and this place is top notch!

Trip to Mt Hood area

We stayed several days at this beautiful cabin/home. It was just as advertised and was perfect for our first time in the area. It was secluded and we had he own mule deer herd almost every morning. The fireplace is gas and we were supposed by how much we enjoyed it. We did several local hikes, visited Timberline and Found a great brewery. The best grocery store to use their great gas stove was Hoodland Thriftway. We enjoyed the hot tun even though it was raining.

Perfect getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend getaway. The cabin was comfortable, clean and quiet. One thing I would recommend is to have a few staples available to make things a bit more convenient. Such as coffee and cooking oil. Other than that we loved it.
