Cherry Goose Lodge

We had no problems whatsoever. Woke up one morning to deer in the front yard. Another morning there was a turkey. I loved the little path made of sticks to walk around the property. Overall great experience.

Summer at Cherry Goose Lodge

We just got back from a week stay at Cherry Goose Lodge and it was a 5 star experience all the way! The cabin was huge, clean, had a lot of amenities, and was in a great location. We enjoyed every part of it - the game room, hot tub, fire pit, and the overall surroundings. It was very well located as we were close to Blue Ridge, Ellijay and even drove over to Helen, GA one day. There are still so many things we wanted to see and do, but we ran out of town. So we will definitely be back soon. I highly recommend this cabin especially if you are traveling with family or in a big group.

Everything was very nice...the location the furnishings the design etc. The hot tub and game room were just a great bonus lol. In the end the best part is the renters themselves. Super responsive would be an understatement. We had a small issue with the gate code and they had us in in 30 seconds. Will return.

Perfect!!!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! Plenty of room for 9 adults attending a nearby wedding. The amenities were neat and clean with plenty of extra bedding if needed. The only issue we encountered was that my parents (70’s) and grandfather (95 yrs old) stayed on the main floor which did not have a bathtub / shower. The rest of us were fine with bathrooms upstairs and downstairs. They were not able to climb stairs so that was our only problem. Other than that our stay was perfect and we will definitely book this beautiful hideaway again (minus the parents). Oh and we saw a precious mama deer and her baby - still spotted - in the driveway.

Peace and quiet

The community is safe, quite, well maintained and very scenic. It’s on a large lot; so the neighbors aren’t on top of you, which really makes you feel like you have the woods to yourself. My wife and I have stayed at multiple cabins throughout North Georgia (both larger and smaller) and each had their pros and cons. On the ride home we could not come up with any “cons” for this one. The cabin itself is fantastic, very well maintained, clean and just has a real comfortable and welcoming vibe to it. This is an excellent cabin to bring the family for quality time to just unwind and disconnect. It has the tranquility of the mountains, yet is a short drive to Blue Ridge and Ellijay. No complaints, it’s perfect.

Even though our stay was okay, we ran into a few things; There should be a larger sign on the road making the cabin visible to incoming visitors during night hours, dishes were not properly cleaned, some of the pillows were broken, there was a leftover soap bar and hair in one of the showers, and the cabin does not provide adequate heating. The second floor was nice and toasty, main floor was cold, but the bottom level was freezing. Needs to have better heating. Ana, our contact, was great at getting back to us. She did address the issues as quickly as she could.

This place was the best for our group! Awesome amount of space, and amenities! We loved soaking in the hot tub, and sitting at the fire pit! The game room was awesome for the kids, and the overall cabin felt so cozy! We will definitely be back!!

Cherry Goose is a golden egg

We stayed at the Cherry Goose last weekend and had a great time exploring the area. The cabin has plenty of space to spread out and the hot tub was clean and had a nice view. The property is very well maintained too. The pond outside provided relaxing sounds while the fire pit made for fun night time s’mores with the kids. The surrounding area of Cherry Log and Blue Ridge have plenty of restaurants, stores and attractions nearby if you are looking to get out and about. If you are of the outdoorsy type then you will love it. Overall my family and I had a blast and we have already booked the Cherry Goose again for another weekend in the fall.

Top Notch Cabin

Myself and my family had the opportunity to stay in the cherry Goose lodge over spring break. The cabin was pristine, the property was beautiful and it had everything you would want for a mountain vacation. Tucked away in a quiet little area but a quick 10 min drive to downtown. Our whole family loved our stay and we will definitely book again in the future!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We stayed with another family (9 people) for a total of 6 nights. This cabin was perfect for our large group! Cabin was fully stocked, clean, spacious and the hot tub and game room kept the kiddos entertained so we didn’t have to, ha! Loved that the drive way and roads were easy to navigate (huge plus in Mountainous areas). Also loved the proximity to Downtown Elijay and Blue Ridge. We really enjoyed our time at Cherry Goose Lodge and will definitely be back!

I was looking for a vacation that had everything I love to do. Cherry Goose Lodge was just perfect!!! What a great location!! It’s close to shopping, dining and plenty of places to go exploring and hiking. This air B and B was amazing! Wether you just want to explore around the property, have coffee by the waterfall or after a fun day of shopping or hiking you can relax in the hot tub, this place has it all!!! Very clean and beautifully decorated and large enough to bring the entire family!! Oh and I almost forgot the game room which my grandkids loved complete with foosball and arcade games and a beautiful fire pit out back! This place will not disappoint!

This place is incredible! From the cute little wood carved bear that greats you at the front door to well……everything else. It looks brand new. There’s a big pond and beautiful waterfall as a centerpiece between the house and a back barn with a huge flagstone patio, complete with a fire pit and a unique planter built into the patio. Stay here! Bring friends and family. It can sleep 10 people easily.

Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful!!

I’m not one to write reviews, but everything about this place was a amazing! The home was clean, everything you need is there, the booking was easy and the hosts were very responsive! It’s in a great location and it was super comfortable. The property itself is enough to stay on, with plenty of land, walking trails, and gorgeous views! Highly recommend!!!
