The Space:
Enter the apartment into an open plan living/dining kitchen space with floorboards throughout. There’s a 3-seater sofa, smart TV and a dining table for 2 people which can be extended to accommodate 4, while the kitchen comes equipped with an electric stove top, under-bench oven, and a good sized integrated fridge/freezer. The bedroom is accessed via a sliding door and offers a double bed and large mirrored wardrobes with loads of space for longer stays. A fully tiled bathroom has a large shower recess with frameless glass, and is also home to a front loader washing machine and separate dryer. The apartment has a back door with a lockable security gate which can be opened for fresh air and used as a separate entrance if desired.
The Neighborhood:
Located close to Sydney’s CBD (Downtown) in beautiful Potts Point, it’s only a few minutes’ walk to a Woolworths supermarket and a wide choice of eateries to suit any budget. Sunday’s Kings Cross markets are just up the road, as well as the buzzy nightlife Kings Cross is famous for. You can walk to St Vincents Hospital, Rushcutters Bay Park, the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia and Woolloomooloo, with even more eatery and bar options in nearby Darlinghurst.
Getting Around:
Timed street parking is available but this apartment is best suited to walkers and guests who use public transport with easy options nearby. The 311 bus runs through Potts Point, stopping on Macleay St and taking you into the heart of the CBD and close to The Rocks, home to the iconic Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge and Circular Quay. It’s also only 11 minutes on foot to Kings Cross Station, where you can catch a train into the CBD and Central Station, Sydney’s major transport hub for metropolitan and even interstate travel. Catch the train in the other direction to Bondi Junction for a huge choice of shops and eateries, as well as bus services down to Sydney’s famous Bondi Beach.
Other Things to Note:
* An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.
* A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately.
*If you are eligible for a full refund as per our cancellation policy, a processing fee of $50 still applies.
*After check-in, if you choose to shorten your stay, you will receive a 50% refund of the unused nights of your booking.
*This is a pet friendly property. You may bring your furry or feathered family member for an additional $100 surcharge fee + fees for any damage the pet may cause. If you bring a pet that makes noise (i.e. barking dog/screeching bird when left unattended), please do not leave your pet alone in the apartment. There are several pet day-care centres in the vicinity.
* Please note that this property has been specifically catered for short-term rentals and is not a hotel.
* Due to strict no noise no party policies in Strata buildings or local council by laws we will be enforcing the NO PARTY NO NOISE POLICY - This will mean that we will be able to force an eviction if these terms are breached. If this is he case we hold the right to hold on security deposit and booking amount for compensation for the purpose of any damage, missing keys and potential penalties from the body corporate or local government authority.
