This place is amazing. It is close to everything we wanted to see and do. My family absolutely loved to be able to fish off the dock. The sunroom is a great place to sit in the morning and enjoy your coffee. It’s in a very quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend this place for your stay.

As usual, this house was in perfect order, clean and comfortable. It is a terrific location for exploring everything from Orange Beach to Fairhope and Mobile. It has one of the most completely equipped kitchens I've ever had at a VRBO. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and the AC unit kept the place at a comfortable temperature.

Terrific house on the Fish River

I had a relaxing stay at the property. It was clean and the most well-stocked kitchen I've ever had at a VRBO. A terrific place to stay!

A terrific house right on the water

This is the third time I've stayed at this property and every time the place has been clean and well-appointed. It has one of the best-equipped kitchens I've ever used at a VRBO.

Great spot! Private, accommodating, updated, there’s even a new sectional in the living room! Kayaks and life jackets and chairs were available. Large outdoor space with natural canopy that was delightful. We saw rabbits, deer, an owl and many other birds. This was a great place and we plan to come again.

Great Getaway Location

Excellent Property, secluded, yet close to amenities and shopping. There was an issue checking in with the cleaners that the owner quickly remedied. Would definitely stay here again.

Great property!

We had a great time at this little cottage. Plenty of space for our group to spread out. Kayaks, the outdoor patio, boat ramp all a huge plus. Kitchen also had everything we needed and the enclosed porch was a huge bonus. Quiet, and the mattresses were quite comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again!!

Perfect little cottage

My family and I had a wonderful time staying in this cute cottage on the river. We were able to have daily adventures kayaking on the river, going to the beach, the zoo and venturing to several little towns in the area. We enjoyed cooking each night together. We had an all around great time.

Property was much more than we expected. House was set up very well will all needed supplies. Had 2 kayaks and dock was perfect. Quiet area that is close enough to all of the fun in the area. Excellent stay. Will check out again!

AMAZING!!

I can not say enough good things about this property. My family and I were the first ones to stay at this home and everything was amazing! They had everything you could think of that you might need and more. The location was fantastic! We were close enough to everything but far enough away that we felt like we were on out one little resort. The owners were fantastic and were beyond helpful! We will most certainty being staying here again and cant wait for our next trip.

Great little cottage/cabin on the outskirts of Foley. Nestled in a cute little river neighborhood, surrounded by nature this house feels like your miles away for the hustle and bustle of the Gulf Shore. Great for Baseball Families in town for PG games, or family on vacation. Bring your own laundry detergent if you need to do laundry, but otherwise the home is well stocked! Cooked breakfast every day and dinner a few times too with no issues. Beds are a fine, a bit hard for my preference (and egg crate or topper would be perfect), but they are fine.

Things we loved:Nice location and easy to find. Charming setting of the Fish River. Access to the river via Kayaks was a nice amenity. We cooked several meals there and enjoyed them out on the outdoor patio or in the sun room. Kitchen was well stocked. Playing a game of hatchet toss was a lot of fun for everyone. Betty's book of information was very helpful.Things we noticed:A little lacking in "Welcome Hospitality Items" Would have liked to see at least a few coffee pods and creamers to get us started that first morning. Also a small bar of bath soap in the second bathroom would have been helpful. Overall a great experience!

Really good but not perfect

The home is cute, clean and quiet. We didn’t use the outdoor spaces (it rained) but they seemed inviting. My issue was that no shampoo or conditioner or soap was provided in the bathrooms, and shower gel and a hair dryer were only provided in one bathroom (not both) so we had to pass them back and forth each morning. I’ve never needed to bring these items with me before so it was an inconvenience to not have them. Perhaps if this were mentioned in the listing I would have been better prepared.

Great vacation stay.

If you like a place on the water, with a dock, then this is the place for you. Likewise, if you are looking for a neighborhood feel that invites you to stroll the area and enjoy a large yard, this will fit your needs. This is not your hum drum condo with outdated everything.You will enjoy an updated home that is sleek and clean. The kitchen and all the amenities are first rate. Foley has all the shopping amenities you could wish for, and if you want a downtown feel, head to Fairhope for wonderful shopping and great parks along the Bay. For and fun time in Magnolia Springs, head to the Tin Top and enjoy indoor or outdoor dining with great entertainment. Also in Magnolia Springs is Jesse's Restaurant. Upscale dining that does not require a jacket and tie. Food is to die for and management knows what teamwork, proper training, and leadership is all about. Your host at your home away from home is readily accessible and understands how to provide a wonderful experience. Thank you, Betty.
