Daytona get-a-way

The condo we rented was exactly what we expected. It was clean, comfortable and in a good location. The owners were great to work with. Each time we contacted them with a question they got back to us immediately. Our only disappointment was that the pool area and access to the beach was not yet able to be used. But that was no fault of anyone but the hurricane and should be open soon.

I enjoyed the stay. The location was great and centralized to everything. The host was very responsive and the place was well stocked with dishes, towels, and even things for the beach (chairs, floaties, and even a fishing pole).My only complaint is there are a lot of different rules with the punishment for each infraction clearly noted. None of the rules seemed unreasonable and I only bring it up because at some point it was a little annoying to have a person who I assume was the manager follow up behind us to ensure we weren't violating those rules.

Overly aggressive towing policy

Host and home were great, but the housing association’s policy on towing is draconian. We were warned by the host, but our car was immediately towed for not putting the placard in the window.

PROS: View of beach is great. Interior of condo is as advertised, very nice. CONS: EXTERIOR surroundings are not as one would expect. Renovation and/or construction work on adjacent high rise building all day. Not easily found - especially at night. No condo sign or name clearly visible for you to know that you've reached the condo and the entrance looks like an alleyway. Access code to condo incorrect per instructions given . Contact person isn"t management either, it's the cleaner (although a very pleasant lady). Pool was unavailable the entire 9 days we visited. Had I known prior to booking I wouldn't have booked this condo.INTERIOR was clean, neat and appeared to be in working order. However, Master bedroom bed frame was broken, missing entire middle support leg . Our suitcase made us aware of the issue prior to getting into bed. 2nd bedroom door doesn't close due to broken/bent hinge. Bed is a memory foam that feels like a rock. Didn't use bunkbeds but they seemed fine.Living room TV remote didn't workCouch in living room is a hide away that didn't fold out. It seems to be broken as well and made couch uncomfortable.Lastly, if management is going to schedule pest or any kind of maintenance, maybe notify current occupants of said maintenance prior to them banging down the door.

Love Daytona Beach

Communication with owners was excellent. Very helpful and answered questions quickly. Very well organized and easy check in. Place was perfect and close to beach. Pretty much everything we needed. Kitchen could use a few more items for families that prefer to dine in. Could use more pots for cooking and few more glasses for drinking. We bought cookie sheets for baking as there were none and left them there. Otherwise cute little condo, perfect for our week stay. If you prefer to sit by the pool this place might not be for you. The pool is very small and situated in the parking lot. But since we only go to the beach it was perfect for us. Condo is clean and updated and we love the keyless entry to the condo. Having a code is perfect not having to deal with keys. Would recommend.
