This home is a very nice home that is convenient to downtown and within walking (moderate length walk) to coffee shops and some restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable.

This was our 2nd time staying at this home and just like before, we truly loved it. Lots of space, well appointed furnishings and a great location, near everything. Highly recommend.

This home was immaculate. The historical southern charm was seen and felt throughout the home AND neighborhood. Take a walk and get immersed in the history. We walked several blocks for about an hour in between the wedding activities we were attending. Local residence stopped and spoke with us and shared the history of the area. Downtown is less than a 10 minute car ride. 3 on suite bedrooms were a welcomed plus (we were 3 couples). Kitchen, bed and bath were all well maintained and stocked.

Beautiful House

Historic neighborhood was lovely and we felt safe! House was beautiful and perfect for us. I contacted the manager because the fridge wasn't cold enough and Melissa was extremely helpful! We would stay there again! Perfect for families.

Great neighborhood, walk to everything

The house was beautiful, clean and located in the lovely Oakwood Historic District. The home had everything we needed and appeared to be newly renovated. We spent lots of time on the porch and even met the neighbors. Great for a family or group of friends.

We only stayed 2 nights at this charming home but wish we could have stayed longer. Check-in was smooth. The home was very nice, and clean. We enjoyed being able to spread out and everyone had their own room to sleep in. We especially loved the porch and enjoyed sitting in the rocking chair in the morning and listening to the sounds of the birds. We would definitely stay here again.

Above and Beyond!

The house was perfect for our stay for our son’s wedding. We enough space to relax, get ready, hang suits and dresses and other prep. The neighborhood is a historic district and very walkable. The architecture is beautiful. The interior of the house is stunning, the restoration balanced historic materials and finishes with modern amenities. Highly recommend staying here.

Great home

The property was perfect for our group. The property manager was great and really responsive. The refrigerator was not cooling properly and she sent a repair company out. My only criticism is that the home and the wonderful porch while clean, are in need of a deep cleaning. A little more attention to the cleaning process would make this “perfect”.

Too bad…the house itself is great.

The house and location are convenient and lovely. Great porch! Unfortunately, we had several issues that were ignored after making contact with Evolve. One toilet malfunctioned, and we ended up fixing it after much effort. The garbage disposal didn’t work, and the refrigerator didn’t cool properly. We had to throw away most of the food purchased. Also found 2 live cockroaches in the house. After several attempts to receive some price accommodation with no response at all, I’m finally writing this less than stellar review. First one ever.

Beautiful downtown historic area. House is on the historic rolls. Near Halloween so very decorated

Overall it was wonderful. House could definitely be maintained better than it is. It was tidy but definitely not clean. But enjoyed it. Would I stay here again. You bet. Big enough for a big family if that’s what you have.

Beautiful House in Amazing Neighborhood

We loved the house and it was everything we wanted for a quick family getaway! Everything is as pretty as the pictures, the beds were comfy, and the front porch was perfect. This is the house we want when we retire! Besides that, the neighborhood was very pretty and walkable - to dinner, downtown, and the Capital. Thanks for sharing your home. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing home and amenities

Together with my son, daughter-in-law, and their 2 five-year-old boys, we spent three nights in Raleigh, and wish it could have been longer. The house is not only beautifully restored, but it has all the amenities you could need. Everything is in great condition, and the front porch with overhead fans is a delight. It has been restored to a high standard, and I kept seeing little details I missed at first that make it so interesting. We would definitely stay again, especially because of its proximity to downtown Raleigh and the museums we wanted to visit with the grandkids. We walked everywhere which was nice because of the other great houses in the Oakwood neighborhood.

Awesome stay!

We rented this house for family to attend my daughter’s wedding in Raleigh. We had a very comfortable stay and just truly enjoyed the historic details of this home! The last morning after the wedding, we sat on the large front porch and had coffee and reflected on the wedding all the fun we had…and just relaxed until time to check out. It was wonderful!
