My partner and I had a great time staying here in June. Tracy had the place ready to go, it was really clean and the all the wonderful add ons with fresh breakfast produce and firewood were so appreciated. Honestly if anything this place is undersold. The views are amazing, it feels very private and just an amazing experience. We had an great stay and enjoyed all the fun of the scenic rim in eat local month. Would highly recommend for a romantic weekend away.

This beautiful place is amazing!
My partner and I recently stayed at the cottage and from the moment I got there I was in awe of how beautiful it was. The owners have put a lot of thought and detail into everything down to the lovely wrapped sourdough and breakfast they leave for you as a gift.
The owners hospitality is second to none.
I will definitely be going back again and will be recommending this place to my family and friends.
This cottage is set in the most idyllic location with a spectacular view. The unique style of the buildings and all the trimmings is exactly what we were looking for and added to the experience. Very well catered as well. We headed down to the river the morning we checked-out and wish we had gone earlier - so beautiful down there.
Welcomed by warbling Willy Wagtails and wandering wallabies, A delightful rainbow bird flitting around the trees. This cottage is perfection. If you need to stop the world and reassess...this is the place for you. The sunny afternoon wandering down to the river and just taking the time to breathe. We packed a delightful little grazing platter for our meal and a bottle of wine, watched the sunset and the stars shimmer. Peaceful recharging of the batteries.
Everything you could want is in Ramblers cottage.
A bountiful breakfast spread , a soaking tub, cosy comfortable bed, a fire outside set ready to toast some yummy marshmallows thoughtfully provided. And some home baked ANZAC bikkies to have with a cuppa.
We will be back. Only 90 minutes from home in Redland Bay but seems an entire world and era removed from the weekly hustle and bustle. The perfect weekend escape.
This is the best stay my husband and I have had.
The privacy is unparalleled, accompanied by beautiful scenery, kangaroos, wallabies, plenty of birdsong and millions of stars to view at night.
The comfort of the cabins can't get any better, from the cloud-like bed to the shower pressure and everything in between.
Aesthetically, it feels as though you've stepped back in time. Every detail has been carefully thought out to add to the illusion that you have escaped the 21st century.
The owners hospitality can't be beaten. They are truly happy to have guests, respect your privacy, but are so happy to come and chat if invited or arrange a meeting with their beautiful big pets if you like. The breakfast hamper they provide is delicious and generous in itself, but the details and thought that go into the presentation of it just shows the love and care they put into every part of this experience.
Trust me when I say that your every need has been already considered and catered to. Including toiletries, board games, picnic rug and blanket, a mowed path to a creek, cooking equipment, basic ingredients and leftover storage as well as a lot more.
This is a stay that can't be improved on, and I fear we'll stop exploring others, because we only want to go back here for as long as we can!
