Entire house, renovated, cozy, custom built log home. Walk only a few steps to the town of Buckhorn in the Kawartha Lakes. Walk to Lock 31, Beach, Pizza, restaurants, groceries, LCBO. Situated on a wooded lot with a large front yard and firepit, steps from everything including historic Adam&Eve Rocks, Buckhorn Yacht Harbor, General Store, beach, dam, fishing. Note: at this time we not able to provide sheets or bath towels.
A propane BBQ, outdoor fire pit, indoor fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, brand new appliances.

Fantastic location with all the amenities you could need (Only small thing I would add/request is a pot big enought to boil corn on the cob!). Perfect for a relaxing week or weekend getaway with friends or family. The host was wonderful and made the stay even better. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay here. The place was spacious and the pool table and dart board was a nice touch. Town nearby was a nice short walk with great people. Would highly recommend as a place to stay to escape the big city life.

Great stay!

This was a family/boys trip. Fire pit was huge and awesome. They provide wood which made life so much easier. All the amenities were as described and the owner communicated very well. Would recommend again. Most suitable for a quote adult trip. We didn’t explore further than the local bar and corner store. Bar closed by 10:30 on a Saturday so bring your own fun.

Authentic log cabin experience

My fellow suburban friends of the GTA want to go "cottaging" in a house a few hours away in a city like Peterborough. That isn't a cottage! But this lovely log cabin in buckhorn is a real cottage experience in a lovely village.

Safety hazard - renter beware

The property is well located but there’s one issue that must be fixed . There is no door nor handrails on the stairway leading to the unfinished and dangerous basement - it’s a safety hazard for children , pets and it’s a violation of the building code .
