First the good: Location is halfway between Winchester Bay and North Bend. About 11 miles to either. Quiet neighborhood. Nice backyard deck to sit on and decompress. Bed was comfortable. House was well stocked with all the essentials. Good washer/dryer with detergent. Now he bad;House was not adequately marked with address numbers on house or at least in the driveway. Some pots and utensils were dirty and needed washing prior to use. The microwave had broken trim (took picture and notified host). Coffee maker was broke and unusable. Host offered to replace. Remote controls for fan/lights were not user-friendly. Fans MUST be left on ALL the time, resulting in cool draft. Outside front porchlight was useless. Put out maybe 5 watts of light. Outside light in front would constantly come on, without movement. No curtains/blinds in large kitchen window. Anyone could walk up and see into kitchen and living room. Master bedroom sink had a maximum of a trickle of water, either hot or cold. Not usable for most normal purposes. I've noticed in the last several houses I have rented for VRBO that either the owner or his/her cleaning company, is less than professional. Sad part is the owner/host does not seem to have anyone checking up on the ones paid to clean building. SAD

North bend stay

We used this home as our home base for our trip to the dunes. It was conveniently located plus easy to get in and out of with our small trailer. The home was neat and organized with everything one needs for a cozy stay. Thank you for the experience, we will definitely be back

Not bad for the price

Tidy, small house, with a circular driveway centrally located between both Winchester and Hauser dunes. Beds were EXTRA, EXTRA FIRM. Only one sofa that fits 3 and 2 small chairs - made for not the best relaxing, but it worked. Kitchen was well appointed with all the things needed. If you have a trailer any longer than 20’ prob not a good fit! We traveled with 2 20’ trailers and we were a tight fit.

This rental home was absolutely perfect for our trip which was to go have fun in our SxS in the Coos Bay sand Dunes! The house itself was a pleasant surprise to a hotel-stayer like. Fully functional kitchen with tons of dishes and silverware. New sink and dishwasher. Ample space. The refrigerator dispenses ice and water, huge plus and cost savings! The bed, bathrooms, and living spaces were absolutely clean and organized. There is an abundance of towels, costco size shampoo and conditioner, hair straightener and curler with a powerful blow dryer. There is also large deck space in addition to a huge parking area. The grill was in good condition and perfect for large cookouts, although we did not use it. I also appreciated the quick communication with the property manager for my questions. I would definitely recommend this rental home to family and friends and will definitely stay here for future visits to North Bend.
