Place was just perfect. Close by for our races. We were able to watch some races from the lounge which was perfect for the rainy day. Would definitely recommend.
We had a great stay at Kauri Haven. Very comfortable for six people with an amazing view from the deck. The property is well set up in terms of kitchen and laundry facilities. Hosts were responsive. Highly recommended.
A family of 4 adults from USA.
A very comfortable house with great views of the Mercury bay.
Perfect for our family to hang out in the living room, cook a little and enjoy our time in Whitianga.
Beach front - enjoyed just walking across to the beach.
All amenities as promised.
Enjoyed the deck and enclosed part of the deck very much.
We decided on last minute get away to whitianga in the summer so wasn’t many options to choose from. I’m surprised this place wasn’t snapped up already. Great location, quiet away from town but not far (we still walked to town from there) and directly across the road from brophies beach -great for kids! Bach had everything you would need. Would definitely book this place again!
This is an older home, a time capsule from the 1970s. Has been well maintained, bathroom has been updated. Has a newer conservatory on the front deck. Furniture and beds are comfortable. Beach access is directly across road. Road noise is not terrible, traffic all but disappears at dusk
Lovely property to stay in. Plenty of space. Across the road kids were able to paddle in the bay, which made things easy.
We will definitely stay again
Our family holiday home has been in our family for four generations. We trust you will enjoy our happy place as much as we do.

Being right opposite the beach and gazing at the ever changing views, or popping in for a swim, or a beach walk are our favourite things about this location. An easy walk or drive to Whitianga village or many other stunning Coromandel Beaches - so much to do and see.
