Duff Heritage House is the winner of the 2022 Provincial Southcott Award for Heritage Restoration. This beautiful and spacious colonial revival style home has been extensively renovated. It is nestled on a very mature 1/2 acre fully fenced and gated lot. The prominent covered patio spans the entire front facade. Despite the extensive restoration, this near century old home has retained its historic character. Over 3000 sq/ft of original decorative hand crafted woodwork remains within its beautiful staircase, fireplace mantels, mouldings, wooden doors and so much more.

Great Historic House

It's a great house - particularly if you like an older style home with character. It had everything we needed. We cooked most of the time (7 of us) and the kitchen was fully stocked. The main element on the stove wasn't working - the owner let us know before check in - which we had to work around for some meals but it was manageable. The location was perfect for St-John's - we couldn't have asked for better. The owner kindly left some toys and games for my 5 year old which he loved, as well as a bike and helmet for him to ride. I'd definitely use this property again.
