The house is lovely and in a great location for a family, a nice quite cul-de-sac with playground and walk around a marsh close by. It had everything we needed, with the only issue being the standard of cleaning - the property would really benefit from a deep clean.
We loved our stay in Napier for the Art Deco Festival. We were far enough out of town for quiet, but close enough to drive into the town center for festivities. Wonderful house with great amenities.
Amazing home to use during your time in the Hawkes Bay Area. The home is well appointed, comfortable and quiet. I would highly recommend staying here and would stay again.
Enjoyed our stay and house was well equipped. We had two children with us under three and found the house was better suited for older children and adults.
Beautiful home with everything we needed for a comfortable stay and easy to find. Loved the decor especially the bed spreads. Easy to book with great communication. Thank you for letting us stay at your home 👌
Easy communication, lovely property in a quiet neighbourhood. Great for two couples and easy to find.
Did have owner visit on Friday night around 9pm to get something out of the garage.
We loved our stay. It was perfect for a family. Plenty of space for all. A great kitchen and facilities for meals and evenings. The location was central, allowing easy navigation around the venues we needed to be at throughout the Bay.
We found the beds a bit hard for our liking but that’s just a personal choice.
Thank you for a great few days at your delightful property.

Art Deco Tour of Napier
A lovely modern home, well presented and cared for. Great living space and spacial bedrooms. Great outdoor areas for relaxation.
It was a little further from town than I expected about an hours walk to the centre of town. I guess it depends on what your definition of close to town is.
Our stay there was great!! Attended a wedding in the Hawkes Bay, and had families and friends from overseas that came to visit us and was overwhelmed about the place. We even had them stay for dinner with the good bbq and outdoor seating area provided for large numbers.
The outdoor space is where we hung out most of the time where you had good shade and a slight breeze which was just right in the middle of summer. The place had everything we needed and do recommend it for big families or just friends gathering together for a trip away.
We (three women) had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this lovely property. It has a generous open-plan living area with a kitchen that has a walk-in butler’s pantry that is stocked with all manner of things. Bedrooms are a good size with very comfortable beds. Unfortunately we didn’t have the weather for it but there is a great outdoor area to sit and soak up the sun. Napier’s fabulous city centre is only a few minutes’ drive away and I would say you couldn’t go wrong using Te Awa as your base of operations!
We liked the property and enjoyed our stay. It was as per the photos and online description. It is well maintained, and has a beautiful outdoor sitting area. The locality was quiet. I texted Greg for some clarification and he responded though he was out of the country.
Just a minor things to mention - there were used soaps (with hairs) in the bathrooms. Garage has 2 parked cars and lots of boxes, which reduces mobility in the garage especially for laundry. The owner has his own stuff locked in half wardrobes (bedrooms), and master bedroom's walk-in wardrobe was locked but that does not affect our stay. There was still enough space. However, the listing could mention about those areas which are not available, as we thought we were booking the entire house.
Very comfortable and good, central, easy to find location. Very spacious rooms and bathrooms. A little strange the amount of owner/previous tenant toiletries and dried out soaps in showers. Very quiet and easy access and departure instructions.
Our family of 4,adults and 2 children were very comfortable. A modern and stylish home that ticked all the boxes of what we require.

Why they chose this property
This is a new subdivision with well maintained properties and flat area to be able to ride bicycles in. Being a cul-de-sac, we do not get a lot of traffic and security is upheld by friendly neighbours. There is a new community play ground close by within a short walking distance and close to the lake
What makes this property unique
Close to all amenities and entertainment. Ideal location for concerts at Mission and Church Road, Art Deco week, Wine sales, etc. Not too far from the pebbly beach and walks along the shore. Maintained by a professional cleaner who takes pride in her work. We have had a few learning hiccups, but are always willing to learn and make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Lawns are kept tidy by a contractor and there is an automatic sprinkler which comes on for 1 hour, 3 days a week. The entertaining area faces North and gets all day sun.
