Beautiful Private Vermont Home 2 minutes to Sugarbush Resort at Mt. Ellen with views of the slopes
This is a lovely modern 4 bedroom, 3 bath home on a beautiful private lot just 2 min drive to Sugarbush Resort, and 5 mins to downtown Waitsfield. The house is located right on the free shuttle line that will bring you right up to the resort. Enjoy sunny mountain views of the ski slopes from the living room or one of the two second level decks. The location of Slide Brook Retreat is really hard to beat as you are right in the heart of the Mad River Valley!

Located off German Flats Rd, just 2 minutes drive to Sugarbush Mt. Ellen. Although close to the ski resort it is a residential neighborhood.
Entire house and property. Four wheel drive and snow tires are required for safe travel in winter months in this region of Vermont.
Entire property, large 2 story, 4br home with open floor plan, two decks with beautiful views. Very private and hard to beat location.
Snow tires advised in winter. Local plowing occurs when they can get to it that day. Please be understanding this is Vermont and conditions are unpredictable.
From the front door you walk into a large mud room with plenty of space for skis, snowboards and outerwear. Additionally, on the ground floor you will find two bedrooms; one with 1 queen bed, the second with two beds (1 queen & 1 twin), a full bathroom with shower/tub, a small living room space, and access to the laundry/utility room. Follow the stairs to the second level and you reach the bright and modern kitchen that opens to the dining area and living room with an open floor plan. With large windows that stretch to the ceiling, there is plenty of natural light and views to be found. Sit back and relax on the large sofa or warm up by the beautifully crafted stone fireplace. Continue past the living room and you will find the remaining two bedrooms as well as a full bathroom. The master bedroom, with a king sized bed has a wonderfully designed ensuite bathroom with walk in glass shower as well as its own private deck with mountain views. The second upstairs bedroom is equipped with a queen bed. There is an additional pull out double futon with bedding provided located on the ground floor if needed.
Please note AC is available in the living room only via a split unit.
Bookings made through an "Instant Booking" option within 7 days of the Check In date may be canceled without penalty to the host and with a full refund to guest, if the cleaning company can not be scheduled in time due to short notice of the reservation made. The host holds the right to cancel reservations made with the "Instant Booking" option without penalty if there is any suspicion of an upcoming party planned on the premises.

THE UNDERSIGNED hereby RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE the host or homeowner or listing company personally and as company or corporate representatives, their members, managers, operators, officials, officers, directors, employees, owners and lessees of the premises, all for the purposes herein referred to as “releases”, from all liability to the undersigned, guests, representatives, assigns, heirs and next of kin for any and all loss or damage, and any claim or demand thereof on account of INJURY to the person(s) or property or resulting in DEATH of the undersigned or guests, whether caused by negligence of the releases or otherwise while in or upon the area.
THE UNDERSIGNED hereby AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS the releases and each of them from any loss, liability, damage, or cost they may occur due to their presence in or upon the area and whether caused by the negligence of the releases or otherwise. THE UNDERSIGNED hereby certifies that he/she and guests (they) have adequate insurance to cover any injury, illness or damage that may be caused or suffered while in or upon area, or else agrees to bear the costs of such damage or injury. The undersigned further that he/she/they have no medical conditions which would interfere with use of hot tub, swimming pool, hiking, climbing stairs or else assume and bear the costs of all risks that may be created, directly or indirectly, by any such condition and expressly acknowledges such physical activities are dangerous and involve the risk of serious injury and/or death and/or property damage. The undersigned further expressly agrees that the foregoing release, waiver and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by law and that if any provision is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or related to this Agreement or the interpretation of this Agreement shall be settled by arbitration in accordance to the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except to the extent modified below. The place of arbitration shall be Washington County, VT.

Bugs and pests: The home is located in a rural area in the Vermont mountains and although we perform regular pest control on the cabins we cannot guarantee it to be pest free of all bugs and animal and pests. We cannot compensate for the presence of pests, insects and animals. We also ask that all guests respect nature that you Do Not feed wildlife. Road conditions: Recommend four wheel drive in Winter/snow months with snow tires. We do not refund due to weather conditions. The road will be plowed as soon as the local plow person has done so and at his discretion. The owner or host is not required to help remove a stuck vehicle or reimburse for any towing on or off the property. No refunds will be given for tow services required by the renters. Code of conduct rules must be followed by all guests: In appropriate conduct/behavior includes and not limited to violence, verbal or physical abuse, violating all part of this said agreement, act or acts that threaten the safety to others, loud music, repetitive noise that disturbs others, annoying to others or unauthorized services, programs or gatherings. Guests will be asked to leave and no refunds.
**If personal items are left on the property, MRVRM is not liable for their return or collection of said items. Should we locate any items in question, there will be a $75 minimum charge to accommodate for time involved obtaining the item, packaging, shipping, and cost of travel to and from the post office and property.**
**If there is a local ordinance within the town you've booked in, guest must obey all rules set forth by the town. If these rules are broken and the town imposes fines, guest will be liable to pay all fines and additional costs determined by MRVRM."
