This space was just what we needed for a relaxing family get together. It was so quiet! The large dining room table was perfect for game night and eating inside during a thunderstorm. The outdoor area was large enough to seat 8 comfortably. Beautiful views! We made s’mores over the fire in the outdoor fireplace. The hot tub was clean. The house was nicely decorated and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. We look forward to staying here again!

Hearthside

This home was chosen as our Blackwater Falls area trip. The home was spacious and provided a great master suite and ample additional bedrooms. The outdoor space was very nice that allowed a great fireplace and hot tub.

Quiet setting in general. We enjoyed use of hot tub and views of night sky. Property was well stocked with towels, kitchen wares and pantry items. Only negative comment was all beds had dog or cat hair on top coverings and had to be laundered next day. Otherwise everything else was very clean. West Virginia is beautiful and a special place to make new memories.

Hearthside is a must stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Half of our family stayed here and the other half stayed at Simple Gifts. We were all in for our wedding. The location is convenient to everything that we needed in Davis or Thomas. The back decks were so relaxing and fun. The hot tub was a huge hit to my 18 year old. It is beautifully decorated and furnished. There was plenty of space for everyone. When family came over the yard was perfect for yard games and hanging out. The kitchen is fully stocked. I highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful weekend at Hearthside!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We got moved from another property at the last minute because the power company was doing work near our first rental. We’ve always stayed in Old Timberline so we’re reluctant. Could not have been more pleased. Back yard is the nature preserve and there was a wonderful hot tub and chimney fireplace outside. Clean... first to,e I’ve not cleaned something in a rental before using it. Beds comfy, just a beautiful house. Only negative is 3 bedrooms share one small bathroom. Will stay here again.

Hidden gem!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hearthside was all I anticipated and more! The house is beautiful. Very clean and well appointed. My favorite part was the outside area. It was spectacular!! Dining on the upper deck. Relaxing by the fire or in the hot tub on the lower deck. The only downside was that the three nights we had booked weren't long enough! We enjoyed horseback riding at Mountain Trail, swimming at Canaan Valley Resort and mini golf at Almost Heaven.Sirianni's for pizza, Hellbenders for burritos, Stumptown Ale and the lounge at the Billy for adult beverages and of course ice cream! We've already booked Hearthside for long weekends in September and October. This is a house we will return to again and again!

Hearthside

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our rental was in a great location. Everywhere we went was no longer than a 15-minute drive from the house. The rental itself had everything we could’ve needed. Our lone complaint would be the master bedroom didn’t get as cool as the other rooms in the house (they were like iceboxes while master was tolerable). We did have an issue during our stay with water gushing out of a light receptacle in the laundry room ceiling one morning and a maintenance person came promptly. He wasn’t able to find the cause of the water
