Quiet retreat

This is a cute little place to have a quiet time away. Very close to the regional park for walks and beach time too. Lots of lovely birds around and cosy and warm inside if heading there in winter.

Tranquil hideaway

We recommend this gorgeous wee place with amazing friendly welcoming hosts. Very acommodating to us. X We loved it so much! Ifyou want a reminder or to experience NZ bush, birds and beaches... we will definately book here again!!

A well appointed, spotlessly clean, and oh so comfortable hideaway, with lovely bush views. Hearing kiwi calling in the night and kākā during the day added to the feeling of being somewhere very special. Our hosts were lovely, and generous with their time and suggestions of things to do. The bach is just up the road from the Tawharanui Open Sanctuary (and night-time kiwi spotting), and the Matakana Market and Cinema are just 10 minutes away. We'll be back!
