"This stunning architects design home with a backyard of bush, set amongst native New Zealand forest, has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Listen to the sounds of the native birds as you sit on the deck with a chilled drink eating Matakana's local produce or just kick back with your fav book. Less than a 10min walk to Matheson Bay beach. 10-15mins drive to the local Matakana village, Goats Island reserve. Omaha and Tawharanui nearby.

Had a lovely two night mid winter weekend.It got cosy quick once we lit the fire. The outlook was beautiful, nice and private surrounded by trees.

Leigh has been a sanctuary offering time out with a short walk to the beach. It serves all seasons from wild winter beachline to the chilled summer vibe. I love reading guests feedback saying the photos don't give it justice. It truly is a haven to enjoy! Even the birds sing to everyone.

Mainly for the surrounding beaches, the local cinema, the eateries are wonderful. Live bands at the Sawmill or just reading the days away.
