Perfect Space for Game Weekend

The space was clean, comfortable, and a perfect location for getting to and from the stadium. Communication with the hosts was super easy and they were always quick to respond to questions. We will definitely be staying here again for any future visits.

Lovely Pittsburgh stay!

Very convenient and small but perfect sized stay for a week with my husband. Close to everything and very easy to find. Couch and bed aren’t super comfortable but good enough to get you by.

Wonderful Stay in Mt Washington!

My husband and I’s first time in Pittsburgh was absolutely wonderful, especially in this perfect apartment in Mount Washington! The location was amazing, as we were able to walk to dinner in different bars, parks, stores every evening. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed, and the bed was very comfortable (which I think is rare in many VRBO rentals). Chris was very easy to communicate with during our stay and we cannot wait to come back to Pittsburgh and stay here again! Highly recommend staying here!

This place was easy to access and the private parking was a huge perk! Not the most comfortable couch or bed, but for not spending much time there it was okay. Jenna was great to work with!

Quick Steelers weekend

Excellently located little basement apartment for a quick weekend in Pittsburgh. Loved that we had our own off street private parking. Check in and check out very easy. The basement was very clean, neat, tidy. Bathroom is small but manageable for 2-3 people at the apartment. Quick communication with the owners. Easy weekend all around.

Attractive, clean, convenient

The property is attractive and clean. The only thing to note was the TV had no input and no amount of fiddling could activate the Firestick. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and our time in Pittsburgh.

Cozy Mount Washington home

Overall the place was clean and modern on the inside. It is a basement with no windows to see outside which I didn't expect from the description and would have not stayed had I known. The neighborhood is mixed and a little sketchy. On a positive note, a couple blocks away is the most beautiful view and walking area.

This is a wonderful neighborhood. It is located in the city, and is walkable. Yes, the best views in ALL of Pittsburgh are just a few blocks away. Trust me, this is a great place to stay, as the other reviews have stated.

Nice place old bed

Was not sent code to access and the bed was very uncomfortable. Other than those two things the state was very nice, very clean very bright and welcoming.

Super Cute - Pittsburg Rental

This place is super cute....the pictures accurately show the unit....my only real issue is that this unit has normal height ceilings - however some places have soffits and with a 6'-4" husband he had to duck briefly in certain areas (rental is basically a beautifully remodeled basement)....other than that - clean, well stocked and in an amazing neighborhood....The views of Pittsburg from certain surrounding areas are fantastic. Lots of amazing places to eat and super close to Pirates Baseball. Parking is off street. Owners left a list of places to eat and we tried out an Italian Restaurant within walking distance and had an amazing dinner. If you are in Pittsburg - highly recommend....

Great stay!!

Very clean and quiet. Dark bedroom with a floor fan, which I love. I requested a tea pot and Jenna was very accommodating and placed one in there for me. Thank you again! Coffee wasn’t an issue with me, she let me know there’s not a coffee maker. But if you want it, either request a coffee pot or plan to pick up coffee on the go. Again, that was not an issue for me. Spacious bedroom, 1 small bathroom worked for me and a there’s a hide-a-bed sofa if you need it. Definitely would recommend and stay again!

There was a musty smell in the bathroom that was not helped by the box of baking soda on the shelf. Also, it's in the basement with 3 furnaces in the closet. When the blowers kicked on, you had to turn up the volume on the tv to hear. The tv is at an angle to the sofa, so you had an uncomfortable seating position. I tried to watch a program on Netflix, but couldn't because people were gaming in the upstairs units.

RENTER BEWARE! This place is absolutely disgusting and not as pictured! It is a basement with boxes of baking soda to attempt freshness. Upon arrival, we detected an odor, but dropped off our luggage and went to dinner. We returned at 10:00 PM and attempted to settle in; however, by 11:00 PM, we booked a hotel and vacated. We tried to overlook the dirty bathroom shelves, the stained furniture, the dusty fan, etc. The final straw came while sitting on the futon (not couch as pictured). It smelled of urine! There was a large circular stain that covered the majority of the cushion. We smelled again. PURE URINE! It was as if the previous tenants used it as a urinal! Additionally, the bed is a queen cot with a singular pad and no mattress protector. The sheets were paper thin. It was gross! The rental charge was placed by a company named "MEGA CLEAN", so this is owned by a rental business not by a private host. Prior to the trip, we received a few messages asking when we planned on arriving because their "cleaning schedule was tight". I asked a question about the site and the walking proximity to a location. This was never answered, but went back to "when will you arrive?" I have no idea who I was really communicating with. They offered to send a cleaning crew to fix the issues because the place is "not refundable". Upon request, they finally canceled the reservation and quit communicating with us about a refund. VRBO did refund their fees but as of yet, this company has not.

Great Place

My husband and I travelled from Michigan for our anniversary. Jenna was great at communicating for check-in and when we arrived the apartment was clean and inviting. The place is just as pictured! The only hiccup we ran into was the parking. There is parking on-site; however it is for small to mid-sized vehicles. We drove our F-150 and it was tight. We were able to get parked because the spot next to our assigned space was empty the entire weekend. Getting out was tricky, but doable with the space next to us empty. This did not put a damper on our trip, as we planned to Uber to and from the city anyway. When contacted about the parking, Jenna was quick to help and offered to see if any of the neighbors could trade spots for the duration of our stay. This apartment is not far from the city. It was easy to get an Uber when needed, but we did also walk to the incline and took in the view and then took it down to the city and walked to our destination. Easy to find as well.

Location Location Location

The location of the property was perfect for what we'd planned to do in Pittsburgh. Walkable to coffee and some restaurants, corner store. Parking is great. Little nerve wracking, as a single mother with two small kids in tow, because the door and parking is dark at night and the entrance is in the back of a building. No real windows in the unit, but plenty of lighting. Clean and perfect size for the three of us. Wasn't able to figure out how to raise the volume on the TV, wasn't sure if it was a noise issue, given there were units above. My only real concern is there weren't two exits or windows that could be broken out in case of fire (bedroom in the back, exit passed the kitchen area), but I'm super sensitive about those things, given my kiddos. Overall, it served its purpose at a reasonable price, was clean, owner responsive and I cannot emphasize enough the location.

Cute apartment with everything you need.

We stayed 2 nights and spent time in the city and Mount Washington, the location was perfect for us. We had everything we needed and it was quiet . Wonderful people lived next door ,we felt safe and secure being there.

Convenient location with parking!

Place was perfect for a travelling couple. Short drives to all Pittsburgh attractions. Clear directions provided by the property manager, and an accurate listing. Did not utilIze any of the neighborhood recs but all appeared to be very close. Overall nice space.
