This was a great location from which to explore London. An easy walk from the tube, this apartment delivered comfortable beds, ample towels and drying racks, a lovely sky-lit dining nook, and plenty of room to spread out.
Check-in and check-out was easy and quick. Groceries and coffee were close-by. We really enjoyed our stay!
This flat had everything we needed for our stay in London. We wanted to be close to public transport, and this was perfect for that. Our host was super responsive throughout, and the tiny garden was a nice break. Recommend for penny pinching travelers.
I really enjoyed my stay; the flat is in a fantastic location and located near food and shops. As a business traveler it had all the amenities needed (Wi-Fi, quiet space) and the overall flat was in great condition.
The owner had great communication for the flat check in and check out info and was great in ensuring I had everything I needed during my stay.
I would totally recommend this flat to anyone looking to stay in the London area.
Great host or not the flat definitely needs some upgrading, but was comfortable and easy to get to and a 1/2 hour walk to the expo.
Steven was a super great host. He sent videos with how things work and detailed instructions.
Would stay here again, but like it said could use some updates.

Canning Town/Plaistow
Found this flat to be very conveinently located to the bus stops and a short bus ride to Plaistow Underground. The flat is comfortable and accomodating. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are on the harder side but manageable. Overall, great value for the price!!
Thanks Steve and Lucretia
I booked this apartment more than 2 months before and 10 days before arrival the owner tells me that the wall was damaged, I asked him for the discount, he said no only for the damaged wall. Upon arrival no one greeted us so we didn't check in, letting us find the keys, plus they had made beds for three while we were four. Then at 5.30 the next morning, waking me up, he texted me to tell me that he had forgotten the towels for the 4th person, which he brought to us after 2 days. Before arriving I had asked him, having seen negative reviews, to take care of the cleaning, instead we found dust, cobwebs and greasy kitchen cabinets. Also in one corner of the room there was mold, so the wall got wet when it rained and then dried. I sent a photo to the owner who told me the guests hadn't warned him, but being an old problem he should have known. You cannot rent apartments in those conditions and in this way.

The wall was not damaged, but needed to be painted after plastering and treatment. However it needed to set, which takes six weeks. It was only a cosmetic issue. They already got a 25% weekly discount, I didn't see any reason to give them more of a discount so I offered a full refund, but they declined and wanted to go ahead with the booking. No other guests since then or before then have asked for a discount because a section of the wall is plaster without paint. I made a mistake and only made three beds I apologized and rectified the matter immediately. Since Covid we do “self check-ins” and “self check-outs”. All the guests have been pleased with this system. The keys are in a key box outside and they had no trouble in entering. It’s not a hotel with staff on demand 24/7. I tried to arrange to bring the extra towels earlier, and they specifically said it’s “no problem I can bring them the next day”. The water leak (not mold) that suddenly appeared, was fixed the day they left,. The vast majority of the reviews are positive.

Central location, nice host, with necessity for a deeper clean
We enjoyed our stay in the flat. Arrival and departure were very well organized. Host was always available and quite friendly. Size, distributation, location and the way the flat was equipped were nice. Everything works but you should not expect to find something really new and it is enough but only superficially clean from my point of view (my children were not willing to use the shower during our 1-week-stay for example). Some parts like the kitchen and especially the bathroom might need some refurbishment. But overall considering the price, it was a good deal and we did not regret to go there.
We had a great time staying here. The property is within a 15 min walk from 3 different tube/DLR stations and the Emirates cable cars making access to central london very easy. The shop on the corner is a bonus, well stocked and friendly.
The house was comfortable and practical, possibly in need of a wee bit TLC (e.g. replacing of tired looking crockery) and a deeper clean but we appreciate we stayed later in the busy summer period and it’s likely been well used! The price is very reasonable, Steven was very helpful and his communication was excellent.

I offered to send the cleaner in immediately to address any issues they had, but they didn't want to know. Part of the problem was they arrived early on a day that someone was checking-out, and the cleaner was pressured into getting it done quickly. As can be seen in all the other reviews, nobody has had a problem in the past. I purchased new pots and pans that arrived the next day. The location is clearly marked on the listing, so no news there.
Sehr gerne alsbald wieder! Herzlichen Dank.

Thank you Katrin. Hope to see you soon in the future.
The property was great for my husband, son and I. Bus stop 2 minutes around the corner and everything we needed in the home. Host was extremely helpful and responsive.
My niece , her husband and her two small children had a seven day stay. Everything was great. Clear instructions given by the homeowner during checking and no issues during their stay. Rooms are spacious so the kids did not feel boxed in. Local shop right on the corner for any lilltle things required. Good public transport access for getting around. All around a good place to book.

good value, basic but clean and warm.
communication with Steve was excellent and he was very thorough and accommodating.
We were staying while our house round the corner was renovated. The stay was relatively inexpensive but we feel that this was good value as the place was warm, secure and clean.

Good connection to public transport
We had a really good and fast connection to the centre of London. The house was big enough for four people and we had a wide range of DVD's provided to watch.
