Great place!

This is a great place! Nice decor, soft and comfortable bedding and the best stocked rental I've stayed in! Any kitchen items you might need including oils, seasonings and cookware. The airflow when the doors and windows were opened really kept the temperature perfect. We had no issue finding parking in front each day and it's a short drive to the beach. Technically you could walk but it's a bit of a distance with beach gear in tow. The contact (owner) was very quick to respond and easy to communicate with.

Thank you so much for letting me know! I appreciate you bringing the soap dispenser issue to my attention — I’ll take care of it. And no worries at all about the screen handle; thank you again for letting me know and for being so considerate. I’m glad you enjoyed how well stocked the place was, and I really appreciate your kind words and quick communication!

What a View!

Great house! We enjoyed the location and the views of the ocean. The sunset on the deck was a spectacular experience. Very well decorated and equipped, everything and more that we needed. We would definately stay here again.

Ventura Getaway

Place was exactly as advertised. Owners were easy to communicate with and willing to accommodate. Place was very bright with multiple outdoor living spaces, cute ocean themed decor, lots of comfy recliners and snuggly blankets and plenty of basics to get started in the kitchen too. The fresh poinsettia on the table and chocolates on the bed were a nice touch. Quiet, great location. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for sharing your home Penny and Dave.

Perfect little place

Three of us stayed here and it was perfect. I loved sleeping in the living room with the windows open. My sister and cousin said they couldn't hear me snore if their door was closed (lol)! It was quiet and clean and had everything we needed. This place was 5 miles away from everywhere we needed to go. We will return when we come back to the cute city of Ventura!

Great getaway

We stayed five nights January 2024. Check in(self with door code) was very smooth when we arrived. It was a little cold for Calif but we had heat, an electric fireplace and lots of plush blankets and throws to keep warm. The views were beautiful and neighborhood very quiet. Parking in front was not an issue. We really liked the deck and the additional powder room.

Beautiful View

Overall was nice, clean, well kept, great view. The only drawback is the constant freeway noise. Fine when windows closed, but we did not enjoy the outside spaces because of this. We enjoyed exploring Ventura from this location. There is a downstairs resident not mentioned.

As advertised

If you are going to be in Ventura and you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay where you feel safe and have a beautiful ocean view, then this is definitely your spot. The hosts were very responsive yet not intrusive. One thing worth noting is that while enjoying the outside patio areas, and they were very enjoyable, there is traffic noise from Hwy 101, but once inside with the doors closed, the noise was minimal. Thank you for a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back!

Very well stocked place! Enough towels and paper goods for our trip. And the kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and pots/pans as well as spices and oils. Keurig with coffee, creamer and snacks left out was a nice touch! I would say you could walk to the beach but it would be a bit of a trek with beach items in tow. Easy parking in front of the place every day.
