Great winter getaway!

We spent 4 nights there over at the end of the year and it was perfect. Very close to many lakes for fishing and plenty of great snowmobile trails that were open. There is a circle driveway which is perfect for not having to back up a trailer.

Beautiful cabin! It was clean, comfortable and well equipped of everything we needed to cook meals. Perfect for the kids upstairs. We planned to just relax and enjoy family time and it was perfect for that. The property is beautiful as well.

Cabin in the north woods

This cabin is beautiful and surrounded by nature. Very clean and cozy. My wife and I were very comfortable throughout the weekend despite frigid temperatures outside. The cabin has plenty of room, excellent WIFI service and nice furniture throughout.

Great spot for our group of friends. Tucked back in the woods, very private and cute little place. Only complaint was there was no toilet paper other than the one roll on the holder (ooops!).

Perfec winter getaway

We chose Sugar Maple for our snowmobile weekend in January. The cabin is beautifully appointed, really comfortable and clean. It's location close to trails was also a big plus. But I really want to thank the administrator and the owner who were beyond wonderful in assisting us when we experienced a sort of an emergency. Will definitely consider staying there again.

We will be back….again!

This is our second time staying at this cabin and we are very grateful to rent such a private spot in Phelps. It is extremely clean, well taken care of, and is pet friendly. Appreciate the use of the washer and dryer, the open floor concept, and the woodburning stove is wonderful during the winter. We will definitely be back again.

Fantastic

This was a great northwoods escape. Cozy space, well stocked kitchen tools, and comfortable beds. The loft is a bedroom for all.Bring your spices and culinary skills to enjoy. It was winter during our stay so we did not use the space with the glass garage door though it is a heated space. Thanks for sharing this gem.

Cozy Cabin Retreat

Absolutely loved staying at this fabulous home! It was exactly as pictured in the listing. Really comfortable living room and there is plenty of space for a large group. Very close to Land O Lakes, easy access to everything in the area. They also have a washer and dryer- which was great since we were covered in bug spray and sunscreen all weekend! My only knock is that there is only one bathroom. We would happily stay here again!

This cabin would be better suited without using Evolve

We loved the cabin it was great but was not at all impressed with evolve and will not be renting anything with there representation.I asked question directed to my contact person weeks in advance with no feed back.We rent with VRBO and Homeaway and it is nice because the owner of the property knows the area and is glad to answer any questions you may have about the area. Face it you aren't from there and reviews are not always accurate.Every cabin we have rented always has booklets of the area and things you may want to do but not Evolve.So this isn't directed to the cabin at all. The cabin was great and the week was perfect weather.Everything was there that we needed.If any complaint we would have is maybe a King bed but there was plenty of queen beds (5) and mowing the yard.The grass was tall and full of bees and we didn't dare go out in the yard and I am talking hundreds of bees.Made me wonder if someone around there had bee hives to make honey.Beautiful area and if you go the Pine Cone Cafe in Lanolakes is where you go to eat.the cabin has only a downstairs room with a queen bed and only one bath but a great shower and the loft was where we slept and it was nice and the beds were comfortable.It is true to the pics and great entertainment with the TV channel options.

I thought the guests were given Carol's (cleaning/maintenance) phone number and our personal number. We have not been up to the cabin, except to stock up on supplies. We thought the lawn was being taken care of, and I was not aware of the bee issue. I really don't like bees, and I am not sure what needs to be done to control them, but I will definitely look into it. We have discussed putting a king-size bed in the downstairs bedroom and will put that on our project list! I really appreciate that you gave us a wonderful rating, we try to make the cabin a special place for our guests. We hope you will consider coming back again!"

Nice cottage out in the woods with a clearing where if you had a trailer or multiple vehicles there’s room. Plenty of room for dogs, an outhouse if needed, nice fire pit, inside of home is well maintained, kitchen is nicely stocked with 8 person sturdy table with open concept, single bathroom with roomy standing shower only, first floor roomy bedroom, all beds are comfortable, decent internet connection and tv usage was minimal with us so not sure what’s available.

Up North get away…not the greatest

Overall, the cabin is really nice. We did have some issues that are not real deal breakers, but are worth noting. 1. There is no central air conditioning. There is one mini split system in the loft area, but it did not produce enough cold air flow thru the cabin. 2. There is no thermostat. We did contact Vacasa about it, which they did put in a service request, but no one contacted us back. The cabin was extremely hot because we could cool down the cabin. We did open windows, but the cabin was pretty muggy because of the outside air temperature. 3. There is only one bathroom (which we knew going in) with no tub. The bathroom only had one very small shower. It was a little tight taking a shower. 4. There is a security camera pointed right at the front door of the cabin. I understand the need for the camera, but it made my wife and I pretty uneasy because we always thought someone was watching us the whole weekend. 5. The cleanup crew did not reset the Netflix, Hulu, or Prime accounts on the TV. This meant we were not able to log into our own accounts to watch our shows. 6. There was dead flies in the shower ceiling light. This was pretty gross to see when taking a shower. 7. There are not enough pans in the kitchen for cooking. 8. There is no gas or charcoal grill. There is a black-stone griddle, but it’s not great for cooking brats or steaks. 9. There is no dresser in the first floor bedroom. 10. The main dining table chairs are not that comfortable to sit on for eating meals.

This home was so beautiful. We loved the wooded roads getting there. The cabin inside was beautiful and had everything we needed. I would definitely love to come back and would recommend it if you feel like hiking or spending a lot of time outdoors.

Beautiful cabin, secluded, easy to find

I stayed here to go snowmobiling with my employees. There was so much room in this cabin we felt like we all had enough space even though there were many of us. The cabin has great amenities and is abundant with pride in ownership from the owners. No details were left out and I will be staying at this cabin for snowmobiling a lot more in the next few years so long as its available!
