Golden Sands

We have visited OC for decades, stayed at Golden Sands multiple times. This condo was what we expected.

The building amenities are great! However this room needs some updates. A physical key and only 2 of them is not convenient...keypad needs to be installed. Having to check-in and check out off site is also antiquated and not convenient. The washing machine does not work and I reported it on Thursday. When we left Saturday, it was still broken. Ice maker does not work. A few broken blinds also. Nice place but needs some care.

Great overall - location, check in/out process, pool bar, exercise room, tennis court, staff and game room. A few area of concerns - very slow elevators that made for our first day moving in extremely long and frustrating, a very loud bang every time the cooling system (I think) came on, horrible smell in stairwell.

1st time to Ocean City MD

The condo was beautiful only one ceiling fan and it didn’t work we had people above us throwing stuff off their balcony and landing on ours and ground but the worst part was the pot smell this was a no smoking area but inside the building and outside all you could smell was weed smoke otherwise beautiful view but I don’t think I will return.
