The Eagles Perch makes you feel like you're up in the trees looking out over the river coming right at you, and the Cascades in the far distance and Mt Index, soaring majestically over you. This 700 sq ft. spacious studio is perfect for a romantic getaway. The Eagles Perch offers all the creature comforts of home. full Kitchen, full bathroom, propane fireplace, washer/dryer, King Size High Bed, Queen leather sleeper sofa, and loveseat, TV, WIFI, large deck with propane BBQ, Adirondack chairs and ottomans. *Note: there is a downstairs apartment that can be rented for larger groups, check out our "South Fork Lodge" to rent both floors. Otherwise, the downstairs apartment may be rented to other guests.

This was an adorable cabin in a really picturesque location! Everything was clean and well-kept, and the instructions for finding the property were very accurate. The general remoteness of the property and some of the neighbors made us feel a bit uneasy, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay!

Nice cabin

We enjoyed our stay. The knives in the kitchen need a lot of help and the bed frame is awkward, but that’s about all I have that’s negative. The location was beautiful and there was a waterfall a 10-minute walk down the road. We enjoyed using the grill and playing board games.

Great view

Great place to set up for a trip outdoors. The star of the show was the view of the river bend from the back porch. Easy access to trails. Be sure to check out the coffee shop about a mile up the road and Zekes for a great drive-in burger and shake. I enjoyed the Wallace falls and heybrook lookout trails

Great little getaway

I chose to book myself a little staycation to get away and am glad I did. I found the stay enjoyable while enjoying the view from the property, not to mention the lovely sound of the water. Local nearby spots for food or treat (Reese’s ice cream in my case!) and nice people. Would recommend!

River runs through it

Overall it was a great place. A little hard to find as there is no street sign off hwy 2 where you turn off. It stated that it had a shared Hot Tub, but that wasn't the case.

Reunion vacation

Beautiful view! No direct access to the shore but a large deck and the view make up for it. The sound of the river was most relaxing. Bit of a drive out of town and down a long unpaved road (we loved it) made it really seem like we were escaping to the forest. Clean, well equipped, good location. Would recommend, would stay again. One con: the shower! Pressure was low, spray was sparse and needle-like. Had to use a solo cup to wash long hair.

Fantastic River Retreat

The Eagles Perch is a wonderful little property right on the river’s bend with snow dusted mountains in both directions. So peaceful and you feel very secluded even though there are other houses nearby. Loved the loft with the chalet ceilings and cozy fireplace. Spotlessly clean with comfy bed and great amenities. Melissa is a wonderful host with great communication and clear directions. Weave over the river and winter rapids on the private drive to the house and hike back to see them closer. Great deck to just enjoy the sights and sounds of the river flowing by. Just Wow! Thank you Melissa for sharing this little piece of heaven!

Almost perfect!

Our experience at Eagle Perch was almost perfect. The Perch has everything you will need to have a great time. I was not aware that when the word perch is used it's not just a name. It has a great view and the river as seen in the pictures is just below the unit, My only issue was one in that I have mobility challenges and there by had difficulty in climbing the stairs and honestly getting in and out of the bed. I wound up sleeping on the couch. Other than that a GREAT place to stay.

Loved hearing the beautiful river!

We most loved the big deck with amazing views of the river, trees, and mountains. Comfy chairs and quality BBQ on the deck. The unit had everything we needed and more. The bed is very comfortable but really hard for us seniors to get in and out of. The eclectic decor is weird with its mix of bear motif and Asian art! The road in us not paved and is gated so make sure you have the codes.

Great place to relax

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. Sitting on the deck and enjoying the view was our favorite part. The location is nice, plenty of things to do nearby. I recommend walking to the nearby waterfalls and also visiting nearby Leavenworth! The owner was very informative and responsive. Overall good trip!

Views of stars, Skykomish River, Cascade Mtns.

The views of the Skykomish River, neighboring peaks, and the stars at night were wonderful. Requires driving 1+ mile over a dirt road. Hostess is very helpful. We were lucky that it had AC during the July heatwave in the Northwest!
