Great rental away from crowds, fantastic sunsets, and super friendly folks at the marina. This is the perfect location if you like being in the water and/or plan on bringing a boat. Perfect for paddle boards or kayaks also!

Great stay at this boathouse! Easy communication about checkin and anything we needed. Really great private spot on the water (it IS in a Marina). We had everything we needed and had a wonderful stay. Would love to come back.
We loved staying here and can't wait to come back. From the clean and comfortable accommodations, to the peaceful beauty of the area, to all of the folks at the marina, we can't say enough good things about our visit. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Our two Golden Retrievers were very happy here as well. The boat house is a former art studio that has been wonderfully renovated and updated. Very unique, and for us it was paradise!
If you were any closer to the water, you'd be in it.
What a unique place to stay. It was exactly as described with water views from every window. The place was extremely clean, and very comfortable. We travel with our dog, and we are always appreciative of a pet friendly location, and this didn't disappoint. We hope to stay there again when in the area.
Totally loved everything about this boathouse property. It was super clean, chic and romantic. The views was magnificent especially with the amazing sunsets.."bottle of wine" would definitely return to this beautiful hideaway!
What a great little place to stay! We had so much fun waking up to the sounds of boats coming in and out of harbor and drinking coffee and cocktails on the dock. Lots of local wildlife and beautiful sunsets. Owners and manager were super responsive and helpful. Easy access to Tarpon Springs and HWY 19 to get north or south to Clearwater, Homosassa, etc. It is very quiet and isolating at night because the docks are closed - you are it. Beautifully decorated and comfortable place. Stay here for a unique experience with great views and water accees!

Overall it was a beautiful place. The hardest part was the noise from loud people arriving at the marina late. Running and making noise when unloading. The pathway from the dock was right up against the house we rented. You could hear all and not many were mindful of guest staying there

Hi Andi, the right vacation home is everything, and we’re glad you enjoyed the beauty of the property. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- We’re sorry the noise from the marina impacted your stay. As noted in our listing, the home is located within a working marina, which is usually a quiet and peaceful setting.- This hasn’t been a common concern from previous guests, but we appreciate you bringing it to our attention and will look into any ways we can help minimize the disruption for future guests. Thanks for letting us know about your stay!
We loved the cosy boathouse. The arrangement of areas was well thought out and helped to make it feel spacious. Very close to Tarpon Springs and all the action. Our host, Sophia was a delight. Loved the porch with the comfy chairs. Was nice to sit out and watch all the boats, dolphins, and water fowl. Even spotted a shark!
This place is AMAZING!!! The location, the house, the Marina owners and workers!!! I can’t say enough good things about it all. Fishing was great, we watched dolphins and manatees from the back porch dock and got to see fireworks from about 4 different spots. This place hands down was our favorite stop. We will be back.
Easy to locate, easy access in and out. Great little hideaway on the water. Watch the boats, kayaks &
Ships go by. Waterside sitting & a covered area for gathering out front. Adorably decorated, very comfortable. Checks all the boxes.

The setting was delightful right on the marina. We enjoyed having our breakfast out on the deck and watching the boats. The shower was small, and we would have liked a bar of soap, but we brought our own. It would have been nice to have coffee or tea available on arrival. Overall, we loved it.

Wonderful and unique property!! The decorating was beautiful. The setting (especially in early morning and evening) was peaceful. We enjoyed watching the sun rise and sunsets. Having coffee on the outdoor deck watching the pelicans fish was a treat.
The owners/managers of the boatyard were exceptionally helpful - especially Shane. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was not working and we specifically booked the unit to watch the Superbowl IN the unit. But Sofia (our guest relations representative) was great in trying to resolve the issue. But Shane (who was part of the family that owned the boatyard and not responsible for the rental unit) went WAY out of his way to assist us in getting the T.V. and wifi working.
It would have been helpful to have more detailed, written directions of how to use the complicated TV IN the unit itself. Guests should be informed that they will need their passcodes etc for Netflix, Hulu etc. since there is NO programing on the T.V. in the unit. However, most of the time we weren't concerned with T.V. since the surrounding Tarpon Springs area was so interesting. Reading lights around the bed would also been helpful.
This is a quant, cozy studio apartment that is connected to a boat dock. It is also in the middle of a marina on the Anclote River that feeds into the Gulf of Mexico. Choose it to spend our anniversary weekend and check out Tarpon Springs (5 minutes away).
High marks for the property manager who reached out the day before the visit and was available throughout the weekend. Had an issue with the remote on the gate to access property and Sophia jumped right on it and resolved the issue within minutes.
Two things to be aware of. The unit sits adjacent to the boat launch and everyone loading up to take the boat out walked right past the Studio apartment. For several hours in the morning and afternoon, it's a high traffic area. By no means a deal breaker and my wife and I enjoyed sitting on the front deck to watch the activity. Every boat owner was friendly and respectful and the Marina staff was super, often asking if we needed anything and stopping between boats to chat.
Only nit about the unit is the shower was small and reminded me of a shower on a boat. Not much square footage so the tiny shower wasn't a shocker, just took some thinking on how to shift, turn and scrub. Again, not a deal breaker and adds to the coziness of the experience.
All in all, a fantastic anniversary weekend. Great food, relaxing and friendly atmosphere with a rather nice view. Highly recommend to those looking for something other than a hotel room vacation or just want to unplug a little.
