Great house for a family get away. Close to bus stop, we took it to Grand Casino Center for a hockey game. Quiet neighborhood and kitchen was great to cook in.
When we arrived, the thermostat was set to 78, which was way too high. Then when we tried to turn it down- the thermostat still looked like it was on heat. When we attempted to contact the owner to ask for help, no one answered, the person's mailbox was full and we emailed and never heard back. Luckily, the AC did turn on and the house cooled down, but it was frustrating not hearing back from anyone.
The house is in a beautiful, safe and historic neighorhood. It is clean and seating is comfy and plentiful and the big dining table was appreciated. The only shower in the house is an old clawfoot tub converted to a shower, so the showering experience leaves a bit to be desired. We were also unable to get the TV to work, but if you have a streaming subscription that should work.
We were in town for my father's funeral and this was a perfect place to stay with a small family! The house was clean and within walking distance to a lot of favorites in St. Paul!
Great stay in St Paul with myself and two teenagers. Lots of room for everyone to have their own space and great air conditioning for the sweltering weather when we were there.
Great home in a great location. Lots of people walking pets in the neighborhood and were friendly. Tons of great restaurants within blocks of home easy to walk to.

Lock the outside cellar door. Mattresses were lumpy. Shower rod fell apart. Kitchen was nice. Uncomfortable furniture. Light switches didn't turn off lights. Had to unplug lamps.
House was perfect for our stay of several days. Lots of room and a great front porch. Fabulous neighborhood. Couple blocks away from Mississippi market, coffee shop, Thai restaurant.

We chose the rental based on location, and it was very walkable and the neighborhood was great. However when we arrived, we discovered grass/weeds that were 3 feet high and a notice from the city that the yard was an eyesore problem. Someone did come to mow while were there but still, the yard was pretty bad. As to the house (probably 100 years old or more), it was roomy and beds were comfortable. The house has so much potential, but it needs work. It was an Evolve property management house, and I will avoid those rentals in the future. I have loved all our VRBO rentals in the past except those managed by companies who don't care as much as owners do. On the upside, we were allowed a late checkout which saved us from having to load up our car in a thunderstorm. Thank you Evolve for that.
Nice neighborhood, plenty of parking. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Overall it worked well for us with a few exceptions. It needs more dishes-4 large plates and 2 small ones are not enough for a 3 day stay. Needs more silverware as well. Only had one hand towel in the kitchen and one in each bathroom. Definitely need more of those.
